I think this is the thickest head of hair ive ever seen. I will admit that I didnt understand freeform locs before, but Ive learnt to appreciate and love what they stand for over time. Beautiful hair man!

I'm white and have been free-forming for a while now, I do the same shit....If anything, my fellow white folk have an even harder, and more skewed belief on locs.... Every family member, friend, etc has something to say or ask about my hair, they're also always shocked when they learn it doesn't have to be a dirty process, and you can still keep up with your natural hair regardless.... People been doing this shit since the beginning of time..... Your hair still grows longest from the scalp for a reason, it's really not supposed to be cut and manipulated the way humans have become comfortable with.

I have locs that I separate but never retwisted, and l'm really tired about comments from people about my roots, the pressure to look "neat". I love my healthy roots and I will never spending time on retwisting my hair when it locks on it's own who got time for this ! Anyway very beautiful locs they tell a lot about your confidence

Indeed @KAF ! I’m almost 18 months in with high top locs and retwist every 3 months . The Most High will , I’m seriously thinking when year 2 hits , I’m done . It’s painful when I do get those retwist

Just started mines last month i have little kinks so far i wash once a month and i wear a silk scarf cant wait to see it in January 2024 😂❤ my hair is naturally curly and thick asf i couldnt keep paying 200 to get my hair done or detangling my hair 3 times a day 😢😅 so i kept it cut for like 3 years and it keeps growing back so i decided this is the best thing for my hair 🤷🏽‍♀️🔥

Locs wicked. But i am too confident in my crown lol if someone is inquisitive I'll answer questions but if they are rude. Fiyah fi dem. Ive recently just explained to people that freeform locs is an entire head of hair not just individual locs they're all for the most part connected like an afro with limbs.
