I loved someone for so many years but it was like loving a rock literally ! I ended up so tired of loving with nobody to love. Fortunately I heard of the good news of Christ sacrifice and love for us, it truly was in faultess Christ that I found true love and fullness of joy

@@sawadeeka3996 well it actually isn't called Hello counselor 😂 in Korean it's just Hello(anyonghaseyo). They aren't here to cure their problems but bring awareness. And they do have professionals but they work behind camera. And some concerns do get a follow up.

In my head is so easy because at the end of the day we are people who meet dozens of people in the street, the public bus, our academy/school DAILY and we all judge others' looks and divide people on ''wow, so cute'', ''meh'' ''Looks desesperate for a girlfriend'' ''Cool clothes'' ''I would never date this guy'' ''Aw, he would never date me'' , so would I really care if a guy who isn't attractive talks to me?? I disagree. He isn't controlling when he asks a girl out cause ofc he wants to make a good first impression but then in 3 days of a relationship he becomes controlling. That's the problem. You can't limit another person based on what you want. Also the fact he is so fast to talk about stuff like marriage or kids is a bit of a problem. He doesn't have sense of his actions and eventhough he is a good guy, I can see why women wouldn't want to date him.

she probably said no because they were on a live show and his friend literally said he'd once dated 25 girls in a month. any girl would say no after that. if they met on the street and she really didnt have a boyfriend, he might have had a better chance. I don't think it was scripted, he just really has a lot of confidence, especially with him getting his way 98% of the time.

this isn't a show for getting real help, regardless of the extent of the person's problems. You shouldn't come here expecting a proper counselling session. It's a comedic variety show.

@@Campanella12 Of course it would be more helpful for them to see a counsellor, but unfortunately S.Korea doesn't (with the exception of the younger generation; and obviously some people in general, because you can't generalise by generations that much and expect to still be correct) thinking about their issues in a sense of getting professional help. It's still a mindset of scoffing at and dismissing serious mental illness and problems as things that can be easily adjusted and fixed up after a small conversation. Similar to how someone ignorant might say "stop being sad" to someone diagnosed with a depressive disorder. Anyway, that was kind of going away from the point I intended to make. Yes, of course getting professional medical help would be a great solution. Even if you don't have serious mental issues it can help your mindset to talk to a professional. The thing is that the people who are asking for help by going to Hello Counsellor are choosing that as their strategy to fix their situation. Whether they think it'll peer pressure the person they know into being better, or if they think conversation with more people who agree with them will solve everything, or if it's because they couldn't convince the person to see a professional, or if it's because of the potential to receive a money prize.. i don't know why people choose to go on television to talk to a group of celebrities about their issues instead of getting proper help, but national television shouldn't be the solution to the problem. If being on television is what solves the problem, then the problem was either silly and trivial enough to be realised and overcome by having lots of people point out that what you're doing is bad, or it isn't _really_ solved.

@@palmtree1958 like you said, this show isn't for finding psychological help, and, like you said, korea has yet to really address mental health. because those raised in korea are likely to be unaware that they even have a problem, it would be helpful if the show had a board of psychologists and doctors who didn't contribute much to the conversation but analyzed the issue and informed the person in question whether they should seek help. that's reasonable, isn't it? this man will be laughingstock now; this show has probably ruined dozens if not hundreds of lives and this is the least it can do.

It's not our job to fix everything to our own standard, because everyone's standards are different. * * * I agree with you! I think incorporating professionals into a show that can feature people with undiagnosed/treated mental conditions/diseases/illnesses and even sometimes deal with actual criminals is much better way of holding the show. However, I also think that half the reason people will still go on it and watch it is because of the lack of professionals. If they wanted to speak to a professional, they'd do it instead of sending a letter about their problem to a television studio. The fixed cast members, themselves, have disregarded some things that would be serious legal issues that violate human rights in our Western society, because they're acceptable or slip in with Korean culture, even if it's only explainable by claiming to have traditional Korean values. The fact that fixed cast members have let that slide without real issue should speak for itself about whether or not S.Korea would take the action themselves to add professionals to the pool of speakers. And even if they did- what's to say a new Korean voice with a psychologist/therapist/sociologist background would stop at the things that violate human rights either? You say it's "the least it can do" for the show to add a professional voice to the mix, but personally I think this links back to the concept of the existence of morality and how all humans individually create their own understanding of what is right and wrong, and then how everyone fits into bigger community/society groups that alter this perception as well. E.g. asking a city-dwelling person if it's ethical to hunt wild animals vs asking someone who's part of a native tribe. As a nihilist it's easy for me to believe in this, and not everyone does, but I think we, as people from other societies with our own morals and experiences, have no place to decide what another person's moral choices should be if they're from a different society. If every person were to force their morals upon others we'd be in total chaos. What makes our beliefs more sensible than anyone else's? I mean of course we're more aware of mental health and all the little problematic things, but does that give us the right to try and impose our values on people who, as humans, are entitled to having freedom of beliefs. It's kind of similar to religion ? I've always been surrounded by big communities of people believing in Christianity and Catholicism, and I've grown up going to schools that teach those beliefs, but ultimately I've got my own ideas which don't line up with those teachings. Despite the prolonged exposure, I don't agree with the practices or beliefs being preached, but that doesn't mean I'm requesting for the churches and catholic schools to constantly remind everyone that they don't have to believe in what they're hearing if they think it's nonsense. Even if I think that religion can sometimes do more harm than good, it's not my place to impose my ideas on a community with different values to mine, just because I disagree.

I'm not against plastic surgery. I'm considering it actually. I think hyeontae definitely had double eyelid plastic surgery done. Notice the fold line doesn't disappear when he blinks, and he can't close his eyes fully.

I agree that they miss a lot of important questions but I think the purpose of the show is to lighten the concern and discuss it with the people involved and convince the person at fault that it's a serious concern that's why he/she should change.

I actually learned a new piece of Korean culture from that, like they don't meet each other's parents if they're not going to get married yet. In our country it's actually okay to meet each other's parents as long as the two of you are serious of each other.

Well i think u r just attracted by them. Maybe because they r rare or they seem really good. Maybe they r something u really want to have as a relationship so it can be why u like them. I think the issue with his friends is that he doesn’t want to hang out with them if there are no females around and I personally think that’s kind of messed up. Would you not be offended if your friend only hung out with you when the sex they liked was around and avoided you when they weren’t? I think you would be. If they acted like that just because he asked out a lot of girls yes that would be unjustified but that’s not the reason some don’t want to be around him, they don’t want to be around him because he uses them as an excuse and instead of hanging out and spending time with them like friends should he runs off with the first girl he sees that he “loves”. He said himself that he doesn’t even have any real memories of hanging out and having a good time with them. I think that they feel like they are just pushing a person out of their life that doesn’t really care about them because from what he’s shown so far he doesn’t care much about them.
