Holden was actually in the back the whole time but he was standing so incredibly still that he was invisible to the naked eye.

Holden made this whole series just so he could pretend to be Steve Rogers during that opening

Avengers Infinity War did tell a thoroughly rounded out story: Thanos's story.

When I look back on this quarantine period this series is one of those things that I’m always going to remember

Matt clapping and screaming "LET'S GO!" at Thor's entrance shows the ride they've been on these past 17 movies.

“Why not double the resources?” Thanos doesn’t want to “save” the Universe, moreso he wants to “FIX” it. He wants people to learn from their mistakes, and do better next time.

"Every character that you like, is going to get a minute to shine in it" Me: *sighs in Hawkeye*

I don’t think anyone else ever mentioned Thor’s scene with Rocket: ‘what more can I lose?’ is to me the most powerful moment of the film.

Shows Gamora’s dead body: Ad I get: It can be hard walking up those few steps.

My absolute FAVORITE thing whenever ANYONE watches the end of Infinity War is whenever credits roll and inevitably someone just exclaims, "What the FUCK"

The fact that never fails to impress me about Infinity War is how it never feels like there's too many characters, despite _everyone_ being there. Each character feels like they should be there, no one is unnecessary. I just love it.

Hey Matt, instead of thinking of them as all dead and knowing they’re going to come back, rather think about the impact their deaths will have on the ones who are still alive. I too had a problem with all the characters dying when infinity war first came out but after seeing endgame I realized that we are supposed to know they’re going to come back, it’s captain America, Thor, iron man, etc who do not believe they will come back. It’s all about the impact it has on the living.

they definitely told a whole story. this was Thanos's movie, he was the protagonist. The movie starts with his quest to get the stone and ends with him achieving his goal. Thats part of the genius of this movie, as the villain is the main character.

they did tell a whole well rounded story. the heroes journey for Thanos. He is the protagonist this is his film and he achieves his goal and is content by the end.

All Thanos’ By-Gone Jimm moments 1. I know what it’s like to lose. To feel so desperately that you’re right, yet to fail nonetheless. 2. Dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same 3. Reality is often disappointing 4. A small price to pay for salvation 5. Little one, it’s a simple calculus. This universe is finite, its resources finite. If life is left unchecked, life will cease to exist 6. I’m the only one who knows that. At least, I’m the only one with the will to act on it 7. The hardest choices require the strongest wills 8. You have my respect, Stark. When I’m done, half of humanity will still be alive

I didn't believe that Thanos really loved Gamora until I watched Infinity War for the second time when she tells him that she hates his chair. Thanos loves and respects Gamora's feelings and sits on the stairs instead.

I thought one of the best moments was when thor was talking about “what more can I lose” it really shows how he lost everything and tries to mask it with humor

27:05 If you look back at the MCU, you’ll notice that Tony Stark improves his armor based on past failures. - Lot of the upgrades throughout Iron Man 1 (better flight, mobility, icing problem at high altitude, gps in the suit because he got kidnapped, etc) - Avengers his suit can absorb Thor’s lightning after being weak to electricity against Whiplash in Iron Man 2 - Got rid of his mechanical heart in Iron Man 3 since it almost killed him several times. - He uses Nano robot armor in Infinity War since Ant Man crawled under his armor in civil war and messed with his internals. - Heater in suit after the icing problem in iron man 1 and being left out in the cold in iron man 3 - In Age of Ultron, the Hulkbuster armor’s blasters were too weak, so in infinity war he has those extra pieces fly out from behind him to amplify his blast - He has flight stabilizers in infinity war to help with mid air combat, which is something he’s struggled with several times before - He has a big rocket booster in infinity war because he wasn’t fast enough to get to Rhodey before he hit the ground in Civil war - He also installed a parachute in to the iron spider suit because of Rhodey getting injured in that fall - After getting his butt whooped in melee combat in Civil War, his infinity war armor has a lot of melee upgrades (the shield being one of them, as well as all the techniques he uses against Thanos)

I remember going to the cinema to see this and the first 5 minutes when loki gets his neck snapped i just remember thinking, oh shit so this is how its going to be

Matt, the reason why all the deaths in this movie are so impactful is because it’s difficult to imagine how they could possibly be brought back. To the characters in the movie, they just lost so many friends and loved ones, they aren’t thinking “oh don’t worry they’ll be back.”

Iron Man had shields because he is always trying to improve his suit. He had freezing problems, so he fixed that. He lost to cap in civil war in close quarter hand to hand combat, so he put a shield in hie suit. There are many more subtle changes to his suit, that originated in defeats in earlier moments.

I watched Infinity War and Endgame both in theaters and at home and it's a very different ambience and experience. You lose a lot of awesome experience if you don't watch it in theaters.

I love how Matt took over for you the way he did. I literally am excited to watch these videos seeing someone for the first time experience what I experienced as a huge fan of marvel movies since Toby Mcguire even but especially since iron man. I always liked Iron man more yet captain America was who I related to more. This whole series is beautiful and I appreciate it all in every way. Keep it up guys! Also its amazing to see how matt went into these movies and now is really really into it all. The Infinity war reaction came out a lot sooner than i thought it would

I forgot just how emotional this movie makes me. My theatrical experience with this was astonishing (only surpassed, I think, by Endgame) and it was great to have those memories come back. I was totally laughing, tearing up, and cheering along with you guys. That feeling of reliving the best moments of my favorite franchises, as well as getting some new insight on characters/plot/etc, is why I'm so invested in your series! Loved the opening skit, you crushed it Holden! Can't wait for next week's video.

Hope everyone likes the animations in the intro, I worked really hard on them! Recreating Matt’s living room in full CGI with Thanos was quite the feat. Let’s not even talk about creating that Wakanda shot ahahaha.

This movie is hard to rate right after seeing it for the first time. The ending is so crushing, I know it took me at least a few days to process what happened, even though I knew most of the deaths were going to be reversed. At least y'all don't have to wait a year to see Endgame 😉

I feel like I'm so invested in this series that if somebody called me on the phone and asked 'Where are you, right now?', I'd say, 'I've finished the Infinity War video and next is Ant Man and the Wasp.'

I like how Pastor kind of took the lead with the post-viewing interviews. He had some really great questions, and hit all the points I think Holden would have hit if he were there. This video worked really well, even though Holden is dust now. RIP Holden.

What was the best part of this video was Matt doing Holdens Part, funny? sure but mostly it shows that your friends have got your back and were thinking off you when finishing up. 10/10

I don't get why people keep saying this was "part one of two" It wasn't. It was Thanos's movie, he won. That's the movie. There is no: "To be continued" at the end or "wait for part two" there is no cliffhanger. This movie has a complete arc, a beginning, middle and end. Then, a sequel, that is a completely different movie and a different tone continues the story.

The scene where Thor comes into wakanda, and stormbreaker just straight up destroys all of the bad guys, and banner yells “you guys are so screwed now!” That’s my favorite scene in the entire MCU.
