@zorkadoo hmmm...18-23 frames isnt terrible. I know you probably want better, so you could try tweaking your settings around to bump them up a bit. For example since you fly inside the cockpit you could turn off aircraft shadows, light bloom, etc. Have you already done that?
32 bit OS with 8GB's of ram. Newb mistake. 32bit OS's can only support up to 4GB of memory, you need to upgrade your Windows OS to 64 bit to utilize all of your memory.
@theboi808 yeah...haha it is. I know it doesnt make sense cause it's so cheap, but I dont have much data on my system for other things. Its basically all focused on FSX so that is why is still get the frames that i do :D
Hi, Great video! I'm going to buy a new computer for FSX but i'm unsure of what processor to get. Which do you think is better? AMD A10-5800K Quad Core APU (3.8GHz) & Radeon™ HD 7660D Graphics or the i5 3570 (3.4 GHz)? Both will have GTX 650 graphics. Thanks :D
I even designed a new 727NGX same t-tail but with length of 737-900 with engines on wing instead of the fuse using current engines on the tail too but boeing wont take it
so if you get around 25, and you record with frap (with knocks off a few frames while recording) how do you you get smooth frames while recording especially in large airports?
I make the settings go full, but when I start a mission it looks bad and after the mission the setting have changed to low, target FPS is 24... I tried saving the settings and all that.. Help me please!
Thanks a lot i have a gaming pc witch was hand bulit by a gaming pc company and it has i7 and everything but it never runned smooth as how the others were until your settings helped.
When i first flew with FSX, I had everything on Max, it ran smooth until i landed where i literally get half a frame per second. Now it works great except when i record. So i am going to try out these settings and see how it works. I like making FSX videos and i HATE the bad frame rate.
Hi Matt. Chris here from FSX I have the fasten seatbelt sign chime but when I press the no smoking sign it won't chime. Please help me as soon as possible. Regards, Chris
@MattyBo02 and how many fps run you pc on the virtual copit of the pmdg 737? runs good? i whant buy a pc to run fsx and i don sure of the phenom x4 cant run fsx whint the pmdg 737 without lag
Your videos are awsome! I saw your website, its very cool too! Simply among the best FSX videos out there. Congratulations. I noticed your system has around 8GB or RAM but you are using a 32-bit OS. You should consider upgrading to a 64-bit OS because that means you are only using about 3.2GB of your computers memory!!
I have a AMD Bulldozer-4100FX 3.6ghz with 8GB RAM and a AMD 6700 HD Series graphics card. Do you reckon I can get good frames? I'm currently getting 10-15fps when taking off and landing.
Hey matt when i changed my settings to urs i can no longer see the airports and when i do i cant see the jerways can someone please HELP me what do i have to change to get it back to normal?
On what settings can I play fsx ? Acer Aspire V5 122P-0681 AMD RADEON HD 8250 AMD A6-1450 Quad Core (1.0 ghz) turbo core up to 1.40 ghz 6 GB RAM 500 GB HDD WINDOWS 8.1 64BIT
@TheDeltaFlight thanks a lot man! im actually not sure...haha i looked at my computer specs and it didnt list that in there. you know how i can find out so i can let you know?
You may find this helpful, uncheck anti-A, set it to bi linear, set the frame to unlimited, resolution on max,and uncheck everything underneath it. In Aircraft, uncheck the shadows and keep the lighting. In scenary, bring everything down to 0, but check the land detail option, special effects on 0, ground scenery shadows is 0 and max out autogen and scenery. On weather check simple and 0 visibilty, and traffic do max cars and everything else 0. Youll see 60% increase.
I need a bit of help I have a i5 1.7ghz quadcore nidiva 710 I think I have 4ghz ram and I run dx10 and was wondering whether a pmdg b737 and b747 would run on a Acer v5 with specs above?
when i land at any airports there are no planes in front of me, i want no. of planes landing in front of me, how do i increase the traffic, cause even keeping it at 100% doesn't brings loads of plane in the sky. any suggestions what can be done
OMG world of ai is really good if you want a really busy airport. I use to have it and had tons of airlines installed, It took me 30-40 minutes to get to the runway for takeoff. Huge line of planes... XD
What levels of details look good and keep framerates good for my computer? (I also use the following add-ons): AMD Athlon X3 2.3 GHz 3 GB Ram Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 1024 MB GDDR5 BAe 146 (from Just Flight) DHC-1 Chipmunk (from Just Flight) Vickers Viscount (from Just Flight) Please help me out. Thanks!
guy could help me? I have a good pc, GTX560 you, phenom x6, 8GB of ram but fsx is no more than 12 fps, already cleaned it all and already used several programs to increase the frames but could not.
You need to have "advanced animations" on for the jetways. You can find it in settings > customize > graphics tab Just click the check box for it and it should work. Hope that helps :)
@MattyBo02 If you look at the back of your computer, their should be a sticker on your Power Supply saying how many watts it is. If not, it would probably say on the inside of your case.
my onfig is cori5 6200u 2.8 940gtm4gb and 6 gb of ram but my fsx work slow fps i have lastest version windows 10 and last drivers :/ :( but i have 30fps in p3d
@FSFlightCrew100 well actually they are on my website (which i havent updated for a while) but you can find a fee pictures up there! it is mattybo02productions(dot)moonfruit(dot)com
Yo can someone plz help me out here?? My PC is practically a beast and yet I still get awful frames (a lot of others as well) however I believe the issue I'm having is that my PC is 64bit and my FSX (when I hover over it to click on the icon) says its 32bit... Is that an issue? And if so can it be fixed easily? I haven't tried the settings in the video yet but will do so in time. Thnx to anyone who may have an answer :)
