They asked for suggestions so I’d really recommend Given, it’s such a lovely band anime that takes same sex relationships a lot more....realistically and tenderly then most do. I’m sure they’d enjoy it!

For new recommendations I suggest Given and Doukyuusei! Both are very cute animes (Doukyuusei is an anime movie tho) which portrays mlm relationships really well!!

Can we have them react to “Free!” the swimming anime? It’s technically not canonically gay (but we all know off screen it is ;) ) I feel like the light hearted tone of free and the hot swimmer bodies would be something they might like!

If I'm not mistaken, Yuuri didn't break Yurio's record when he broke Viktor's. Yurio broke Viktor's record in the short program and Yuuri broke Viktor's other record in the free skate. They were two separate records

It was so fun watching them enjoy Yuri on Ice! I'd love to see them react to "Carole and Tuesday" or "Hoshiai no Sora". Both hold LGBT+ themes! (Carole and Tuesday the LGBT+ themes aren't a lot but it's still an interesting story). Although that last one got cancelled it's still worth a watch, but it does hold dark themes so watch with care :'0

@@flowerdolphin5648 Yeah! The english name is "Stars Align". Its like a sports anime centered around a light tennis team, and when you first watch it seems like its gonna be light hearted, but it gets dark fast. It holds themes such as, trigger warning for everyone in advance: - Child abuse - Homophobia, transphobia, etc - Just like the worst parents that you wanna deck in the face man I could be missing some, as it has been a bit since I watched, but if you can handle these things after researching it I reccomend giving it a watch as it is a really good anime. I reccomend it more than Carole and Tuesday, as LGBTQ+ themes are in it more. Because in Carole and Tuesday, while it has a fun and interesting story, it's LGBTQ+ characters are seen like one or two times and that's it.

@@flowerdolphin5648 It was supposed to be two-cour, as in 2×12 episodes. But before the first half even began airing, the production committee decided to cancel production for the second cour. No one really knows why, it can just be assumed that the topics adressed in it and the lack of easy marketability ruffled some feathers with the higher-ups.

Mo Dao Zu Shi/Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation is a really great fantasy BL series. Maybe it wouldn't work so well as reaction material, idk, but it has a very nice story and amazing characters, and is worth watching for anyone looking for recs. :)

This is an older gay/yaoi anime but one of my personal favorites is Gravitation. Watch the OVA second after the series too. It's about a musician trying to find his drive that inspires him and a novelist with a dark past. The music is amazing in this show! 💖

Having them watch Welcome to the Madness (also a Yuri on Ice thing) will be amazing lol it's short but it's worth it. Hitorijime My Hero is a good one too as well as Given, like many people have suggested. A lot of people are suggesting Banana Fish and I say that's a good rec too.

Its just that even if i talk to my sisters when discussing things while watching anime, we don't look at each other cause we don't want to miss any actions and words the characters are saying. Sometimes you'll miss the whole thing even just not looking at it for 3 seconds so we know. We even need to pause the video and rewind the things we didn't understand or things we missed watching.

I feel like I should say since I haven’t seen really any comments on it, but a season 2 is in the works and a movie prequel about victor, set for 2021. They both have delays and there’s not too much about season 2 out there but the movie has a teaser trailer up I think, and a website. Definitely should check it out
