Hey there, thanks for stopping by. Just a small word: I only handle him after 9pm because he's a big time sleeper all day and refuses to come out unless I black out the room for 30 minutes. When he is handled, it's never for more than 5-10 minutes. He's been given much longer than a week to acclimate, but through the magic of editing, you're seeing this one week after the unboxing

She did pretty good considering how nervous she was! I probably acted somewhat similar when we got our gecko. It is a crested gecko and it ran down my back. I was mostly just scared I was going to lose it or hurt it. I wasn't scared but I didn't have any experience. Now I'm great at catching her when she jumps. My reflexes get exercise when I handle her.

Good on her, it’s a big thing to face and overcome your fears, and she should be very proud of herself.

I've always wanted to have pet reptiles! Most of my family members think doing so would be a bad idea. Some even say that, "You will never be able to get a girlfriend if you have a pet snake!" As if all women hate snakes, which is obviously nonsense!
