Any chance of you posting the design with measurements? This is a brilliant design, and you thought of everything in it. I'd love to build something similar that includes all your brilliant ideas
hands down one of the best videos that I have seen! Addresses a lot of things that I have been thinking about and new ideas that are like "hey I gotta try that!" Thanks for the video plan on viewing this many times.
Love it! Do you share plans for your barn build? Or do you know a good resource for finding them? I'm moving from the city to a rural area and taking my two Nigerian Dwarfs with me and I will need to build them a shelter. I'm in the process of planning ahead and trying to estimate costs.
Thank you so much, I do have two other videos out that might help answer. One is How to Train your Goats to do Tricks, and the other video is about headbutting.
You have one of the best barn set up for goats that I have seen. Do you use a tarp for the door or what type of material that they do not try to eat. Gave me so many great ideas. Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks for the video! We are soon to-be goat owners, and the barn was an inspiration. I've been looking for ideas like the ones that you've implemented. Been milling lumber and putting up outbuildings on our 25 acre homestead in WV, and this will be our next project. Thanks for the ideas!
LOL...You're an AWESOME goat daddy! I have a very small cat rescue of 6 I adopted(ALL white). PPl wonder how O know them apart lol. It's awesome that you love them so much by how you spoil them and to call them by name...PPL always say my 7 room apt is for my cats. OF course I can leave...they are indoor only. Hoping to find ideas for an indoor cat play station. NOTHING on the web works, and it's all so expensive. This video was a breath of Fresh Air...goat therapy haha
If you take the extension leg part off the big trampoline it makes it shorter and safer. I have Nubians and Nigerian dwarfs and they love their trampolines
Your barn looks great and so do the goats. The only thing I would tell people to do differently, if they are building a goat's barn, is to build feeders and to place minerals a bit higher. It seemed to me that those were at ground level.
"Hay" Stacy! What a beautiful barn! Thank you for sharing. You have given me some great ideas. I'm still learning so much. Goats were never part of the plan. I was only supposed to be temporarily fostering, but almost four years later, here I am with three crazy goats, and I couldn't imagine life without them. Also, a bit off-topic, but did you have a store in North GA? You seem familiar. Anyway, looking forward to seeing more videos.
@@StacyAlan77 Oh, yes, that's it! Sad to see the storefront is closed, but nice to see the fb page is still active. Will give a follow over there as well. :-)
Thank you! My goats get access to hay most the day and no more than half cup in the morning of feed and then half cup again at night. The mixture I use for their feed is 3 parts goat pellets (with the ammonium chloride since I have wethers), 1 part black oil sunflower seeds, and 1 part alfalfa/timothy pellets.
Thank you so much, I designed it in my head and just bought materials from home depot to build it. I'm one of those odd people who can have plans all in my head to work from. The dimensions of the barn without the overhangs is 16'x 20'
That’s a good question. PEX can expand and contract with heat and cold, it’s a better product for changing temperatures. My plan was to bury the whole line underground 12” to keep it from forming ice inside, but never got to it. The ground warmth would have kept it insulated enough from freezing.
I am looking for about your products place leave me a message. When I post this, I am looking for more information on this. I am looking for more information how I can find me a piece of property worth I can put a little tiny house on and be off the grid but I can have small animals and raise a hydroponic on it with fish gareden where I can have a garden
