Nice collection! I had the AE-1200whd, but gave it to my son. I'm considering getting the black version like you have. I currently wear a G&Shock Rangrman GW-9400-1 and love it, considering getting the same GW-5000u-1 which you have. The other watch I have is a Casio MRW-200H black dial white numbers as a light small option. I appreciate your videos.
Very nice collection Ray. I have quite a few Casio's and G-Shocks and as a perfect illustration of how many watches Casio have brought out, I only have TWO of yours, the Casio Royale AE-1200, the green map one you're keeping in the box, and of course the F91-W. My G-Shocks are GG-1000 Mudmaster, my trekking and mountaineering watch, a red GA-700 (bad backlight) and the iconic Frogman. One watch, very affordable, that you don't seem to have yet, and I highly recommend, because I can't take mine off is the Mission Impossible DW-290 1VS with gorgeous electro luminescent display. It's extremely comfortable, you can probably pick up one for around £30 to £40. There are big rumors going that Casio will stop making this watch if they haven't done so already as EL displays are being phased out. Get one while you can! Just subscribed by the way.
Thanks so much for the sub Brian and the tip off re the DW 290. I do mean to get that one and the 291 also. You certainly have some serious G Shocks - I have long coveted a Frogman… not sure if I want a digital or a more up to date analogue one …so many Casios!
Thought you'd have a Mudman. I have a G-9300 with the moon phase and is the toughest one i own ... no spring bars but screws to hold the straps on. It's big - about the size of the GC-350 but no wings to help the wrist fit.
I have often been tempted to get one… I think that I’ll be getting another ‘big’ g shock next year… I recently had a Rangeman but sold it ok too get my GW5000U
Whoa! I've not had that issue, I have to say. The best quality strap on my G Shocks is the GW5000U which is proper rubber, not resin - that might be better. Or maybe just swap 'em out for nylon NATO straps
I'm collecting f91w's and square gshock,but what holds me to purchase new models was the issue I had with. I already change my f91w's straps to nato and bought new bezel and straps for my square gshocks. Thanks for the reply. Keep it up!
