@teedee9214 So far, so good 👍 Nope, not a grand yet. I think it is around $500 so far. Started on January 1st. It'll be a little bit over $1,000/year. Gonna occasionally throw in a bit extra as well so I can plan a special day. I'm gonna buy it for my 50th birthday.
This is the best grand seiko video ever - you know why ? A) no annoying commentary how great grand seiko is b) unenhanced editing showing the watches in natural lighting c) a great showcase range of the full spectrum of grand seiko d) appropriate relaxing music - please do another video with any updated models
Wow. Nice collection. That is about one year of tuition for just one of my kids who went to the Ivy Leagues (I paid for two kids in the Ivy, plus one master from another Ivy school). I think my kids need to buy a few of these for me now that they finished school (without any student loans) and both have high paying jobs. Poor daddy is still with his old Seiko Pogue from 1975 (I'm the original owner), that has serviced me well for over 47 years.

Very nice collection. I also have a watch collection that includes a high beat GS that you have. I better not get the bug to to start a specific GS collection. However what I really wanted was one of the blue dial watches you have.
Nice collection. Noticed you must have collected those in a relatively short period of time, all single logos. Let me know if you are interested in adding ‘vintage’ ones, I have SBGJ021 and snowflake double logo for sale, based in Hong Kong.
Considering that a GS revision is between 500-700$, that is has to be done every 5-7 years, owning this collection costs between 1000 and 1500$ a year 😂
NICE collection! I'm thinking of getting the "melting snow" Grand Seiko SLGH013. I think it is quite like your "white birch". I will have to see it in person, but I think the "melting snow" is the one for me! I have many watches, but this will be my first Grand Seiko. What do you think? I'm curious to get your input, since you have so much experience with them. Thanks
I think SLGH013 is a very good choice, 1. The special silver dial with ice blue colour, so beautiful, 2. 9SA5 is a good Hi-Beat movement, 3. The classic 44GS case. I like SLGH013 very much, but I already have the 9SA5 movement, and I am waiting to use 9RA2 movement to match the beautiful dial.
I am starting to have my own collection now, just wondering how do you take care of your manual watch(such as 9R31)? Will you keep it running? Or how often do you wind them?

I rarely wear GS, I always wear Panerai 、IWC big pilot or AP Roo, because I like big watches better, but sometimes I wear SBGE001 and SBGD001 in holiday
