My GT350 joins Chin Track Days (Red Group) to take on RD ATL on 11/26-11/27 2022. Unbelievable fun!

Big Nasty and I join Chin Track Days to take on the infamous Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for their Thanksgiving Feast of Laps. This event is a tradition for me and my buddies. Was having clutch issues all weekend along with brake problems but was able to put down some decent times. On Lap 12 I overshot T10A and almost put my GT350 in the gravel pit. My brake pads were shot and done after this session. Time for new rotors and pads.

Love watching you drive! The patience! I love how you start at a "reasonable pace" and then build lap by lap.....little deeper braking......a little more throttle! I learn a lot from watching! Headed there tomorrow for the ALS event.....I'll be happy to break 1:50 in the Meatball Express!! Wish me luck! And nice save too btw!! :)

Put that lap timer where you can only check it after the session. That's what lead to 10A. The only trophy at a track day is one you don't want. Do what you will with free advice. Other than that I enjoy your channel. Keep on gettin after it. The 350 is much fun. I don't think the 350 can handle slicks on the stock links and knuckle bushings. I know you have some kit already on the car. Do you have the knuckle bushing changed out?

Hey Troy, thanks for the advice, buddy. What year is your GT350? I'm working on changing out everything. So far, I've done a bunch of Steeda upgrades to the car. Still have a few more to do. Hopefully I'll get those done pretty soon. Are you in the Atlanta area? Thanks Troy!

@@316racingchannel9 I have an 18. I have about everything under the car you can except for diff and knuckle solid bushings. I also have a 19 gt3rs. I'm from Pa. I used to do the Florida to Canada track thing for years. Everything east of the Mississippi. I learned that building 2 sim rigs allowed me to share the fun with friends more easily and in the end costs less. Now we race or fun around every weekend. That said HPDE is still on the menu. Barber!!! It's one of my favorites.

@T DeZ that is awesome man! Mines an 18' too. I've got Road Atlanta at the end of February and turn around and head to VIR the first weekend in March. Can't wait. This off season is killing me. I bet your gt3rs is a blast. In my opinion that is the best out of the box track car ever made. Period! So badass!

That was too close on the last lap. I puckered up just watching it. Glad you saved it. 1:34’s are incredibly fast for a street car.

Thanks Final50!! I've been in that gravel pit before and it's no fun buddy! I'm thinking about trying some slicks, I think that's the only way to get sub 1:34 but I'm gonna keep trying...
