I did the big chop in September 2022 and it's growing back nicely...nothing was wrong with my hair b4 the cut, just wanted to do something different....hopefully I can grow it pass my shoulders😊
Yes when I had my daughter, when she turned 5 months, MY EDGES CAME OUT SO BAD!! I had never heard of postpartum hair loss! But after a couple months of hair growth oil I was good
Thinking about cutting my hair in a pixie cut. So a big chop…. Been natural for 13 yrs but I want to start over and give myself a break. It takes work to maintain long natural thick hair. Trying to find out how long it will take to grow back. Thanks for sharing ❤ This will be my first short hair cut style.
I big chopped 6/2019. My hair grew fast and healthy. I had my baby 10/2022, three months later most of my hair fell out and had bald spots in the same spots as you. My hair is finally growing back but this set back really affected me. It's like in only 2 years into my hair journey instead of 5.
I was just thinking that and genetics. When I was pregnant and taking prenatals it grew mid back. Although my mom had long hair MINE has never grew that long again. 😂😂 I was JUST thinking I need to get pregnant ONE more time JUST for the growth. LOL! Edit: They'll never admit it, but the same as her edges fell out due to "hormones" the same can apply to the growth. Her hair is gorgeous though.
