Life is quite tough in Singapore, cost of living is too high, making every square feet in her HDB unit useable for her business is a great improvised idea to lower overhead, rent on commercial space for hair salon can be exhaustive and too expensive to bear.

Same, there’s one near my house in Woodlands, near 2 bus stops, first is served by 178/187 only, which gos to Woodlands Interchange. Same for the other bus stop, 911 and 913M. They also go to the Interchange.

To those that asked if this is legal, ofc it is! There are people who opened tuition "centre" businesses in hdb too. If it aint legal this wouldnt even be on CNA hello..... Her house is rly nice

Singapore is never my home. She is my mother's home. i used to tease her that Singapore is her home. She replied that Singapore is my home too. i told her " you make a home in my country", you left China to born me here. So, Singapore is your home but my country of birth i truly and gratefully proud. Will honour and live up of my PBS!

I saw her video sometime back and went to her for a simple haircut, she took no more than 10 mins to cut my hair, it turned out so bad that I had to grow it long for the next 3 mths. But I could tell she was clearly in a very bad mood that day. Just my luck😕

Not really hijab friendly cause since the salon was at the front door, anyone could come in and a guy walked in while I had my hijab off. Plus when she did the bleaching, it was sooooo painful, I had blisters. Mind you, I bleached my hair at other salons before!
