Fujifilm really knows how to make asthetically pleasing cameras.

This camera has a function where it will show zoomed in frame lines if you use a longer focal length. Hold the EVF/OVF toggle and it will switch the frame lines.

Hi Omar. You can make the viewfinder exposure needle bigger through the menu by changing Set Up -> Screen Set Up -> Large Indicators Mode (EVF/OVF) to ON

If you hold in the EVF/OVF switch to the right while looking through the OVF it will zoom in making it easier for longer lenses. This feature has been removed from the X-Pro 3.

Stoked for you mate! This one appealed to me from day one. My grail camera from Fuji would be a X70mkii though with the same optics but the XT3 sensor and a little water resistance. I NEED that pocketable APS-C goodness.

I have had my X-Pro2 for nearly 2 years. For the first year I used two zooms: the 10-24mm, and the 18-55mm kit lens. Now I am all primes. And I am much happier. It reminds me of when I was using my Nikon Photomic FTN and a Hasselblad 501C - both systems were all primes and I think it forced me to "shoot from the heart" rather than dealing with zoom settings. No extra decision-making; just let the decisive moment take over. I've been retired as a photojournalist, portrait shooter, and even a magazine editor for about 5 years now. So without client pressures - rather, just shooting for ME - the Fuji X-Pro 2 is about as close to perfect as I need.

Ive had my [you know what] since the year it came out, LOVE it to death. There is one thing I have just discovered recently in regards to the OVF; well most of us know that by sweeping the from toggle lever to the left (towards the lens) you get the mini LCD in the lower left hand corner in both MF and AF, and by pressing in the back dial (don't rede,ber if that is a default operation) you can zoom in to the focus area in that picture-in-picture screen in the OVF setting, with peaking or without, your choice... However, I just discovered that in OVF view if you hold that toggle lever to the right (away from the lens) for three seconds, you get a OVF magnifier element drop in to bring those frame lines to fill the OVF and vice versa. You're welcome :)

No way! I just ordered the EXACT same camera from mpb. It arrived a couple days ago and was their last one. I chose it over the 3 for a number of reasons and really think I made the right choice. It’s absolutely fantastic so far. It’s the perfect compliment to my big full frame canon I use for most professional work. I might actually be in love with a camera.

The hybrid viewfinder is a blessing in many cases…such as Sports Photography 🤗

I got mine ( same colour ) for less than £500 3 yrs ago. Love the way it feels in the hand and I always feel safe with it - as I could use it as a weapon if need be! It also ages well , nice brass patina appears on the edges that rub.

I love the X-pro2 to death, it’s just so perfect with no major compromise. Just like you, recently had the rare chance to snag a NOS graphite unit, jumped on the chance and never looked back! Tho price was steep, but just never ever see the graphite version sold anywhere let alone a NOS unit. Comparing three X-pros, the 1st version was nice, but was notably slower and had no ISO dial on the top, the 3rd version was good with notable improvements to AF and 2MP but came with major issue with the ribbon cable malfunctioning on way too many unit for longevity. The 2nd iteration was the most well balanced, had ISO dial, big jump in MP, dual SD slot, and a argubly better OVF out of the 3 models. Autofocus improvement wasn’t important for me as I shoot with manual Voigtlander lenses anyways, thus the 3rd version to me had no notable improvements but instead brought some potential failure points in the future. Ended up getting the 2 for its legendary longevity. But if you care about autofocus the 3rd version is the best tho.

Good for you, Omar! I had an opportunity to purchase a new-in-box graphite X-Pro2 with matching 23/f2 at the same time I was deciding whether to sell my black X-Pro2 and buy and X-Pro3. I ultimately went with a dura silver X-Pro3 but I still sigh every time I see a graphite X-Pro2. So, so pretty...

I’ve been researching this camera for a bit now and when this video was recommended to me…my first thought was “these ads are getting way too personal” since have the same name, spelling and all! Great video tocayo!

The X-pro 2 is my favourite camera I have ever owned. Wonderful, tactile camera with a fantastic sensor delivering some lovely images. Upgraded to a x-pro 3 last year after my Xpro 2 became a little slow and general wear and tear started to show its age a little bit and I still not quite at one with it. Even though principally they are the same camera I still feel like I haven’t got used to it or formed a connection with it. The Xpro 2 felt like an extension of my body. Guess i only had the Xpro 3 a year and perhaps haven’t been away with it and spent time just shooting for days straight to get underneath it and get a proper feel for it but yeah the 3 so far doesn’t quite match the heights of the two. Perhaps I don’t agree with some of the design decisions - perhaps it’ too analogue for me (screen being flipped) or it’s just needing the time to spend time with it - I don’t know l! But I highly recommend the Xpro 2. Fantastic camera that is just a joy to use.

I saw one a week ago, I am still considering it. With graphite 23mm. Although I am torn between xpro2 and xe4. Congrats on the new accessory :D stay sharp! Edit: Got the x-pro2 Why didn't I get this sooner?

I know it's not native Fuji, but TTartisan has a graphite 27mm f2.8. It's about the size of the Fuji 18/2, and not bad optically, but of course has quite some vigentting and the center is a bit soft wide open.

Can’t believe I just saw this. I am still shooting professionally with my XT2 and XPRO2 bodies. Try the XPro2 with the 18 mm F2 with the optical viewfinder. It’s the best.

Love my XPro 1-3 bodies! Looking forward to the XPro4. Tip: get a vented lens hood works well when using the OVF view…BBF: First you'll have to put the camera in M (Manual) mode via the front selector switch. Then, you'll have to go to "Instant AF" and select how you want your camera to AF when pressing the "AF-L" button. You can choose between single and continuous focusing. At this point you'll be able to use BBF.

You're right, that is a sexy color for that camera! Unfortunately I'm with Sony (switched from long-time Canon user) so I'm not ready to add another brand into the mix until I become more comfortable with Sony.

I just picked up a X-E3 from MPB. Traded two no longer used Sony lenses for it. Overall was a great experience. Trade in prices were very fair and the X-E3 condition was far better than expected. Definitely a better experience than my previous trade ins with B&H and KEH where they didn't honor their initial quotes without me hassling them. Enjoy your new Pro body!

Love the look of the x-pro2, had one from a friend for a month and just not made it for me.

The x pro 4 gotta have a regular backscreen, tilt or no tilt. This Xpro 2 is still the best looking Fuji camera imo.

I love the X-Pro2 so much, I bought it twice! LOL! I added a Wephoto hand grip/quick release plate which is excellent on the X-Pro2. It is one of my most favorite camera bodies ever! I do have to disagree with you about lenses though. I use all my primes and zooms on it. It handles them all effortlessly!

I have a Graphite X-T1 in mint, unused condition. Like you, Omar, I haven’t used mine much, relying instead on my X-E2/pancake street combo & X-T2. Not only is the Graphite version nifty looking, but the finish is tougher than the silver or black.

That camera is such a beauty, Omar! I remember it clearly in my head when I was visiting Kyoto, I saw a mother who had a black X-Pro2 with a pancake lens taking some photos of her daughter in a Kimono. At that time I was not even familiar with the Fujifilm camera & lens ecosystem. But since that day I really wanted to own one. Fast forward to now, I own the small X-T20 and have made pretty good use of it. Still happy with the IQ and UX of it to date.

okay I'm officially jealous!! that's my dream fuji camera and maybe the most beautiful digital camera ever made..?? I was close to buying one a while ago but someone was a bit quicker...😢 and also the xpro 2 in general has become insanely expensive now...maybe if the pro 4 comes out people will start selling pro 2 more and for lower price, hopefully!

At first I said oh no. Then when I saw it I said yes. After watching this I had to pull out my used XE3 that I got from ? (no free advertisement). Yes my camera is old but I did not like the direction Fuji took with the XE4. I was really tempted with the camera you just got but the body size with the 27mm of my camera won me over. Its my EDC. It just works for me. I also really like the little grip. It just fits my hand. The only way I would up grade would be if the new camera had this body.

I got the x100f. Same hybrid evf/ovf system and same sensor as xpro2 :) cool sensor and cool cameras.

It is a Photo-graphite camera, in 2020 I was doubting about that one and the X-E3 and finally I got the E3, it is a kind of mini X-Pro camera as you said... In fact I was thinking about to disguise in a X-Pre 3 (X-Pro + X-E = X-Pre) because the rear screen it is tactile, something that I missed in the X-Pro2.

Just a gorgeous piece. Wow! I’ve owned all of the XE series and the XE3 is still my favorite, XE4 isn’t as much fun nor as easy to shoot with. Love the Pro but as gorgeous as it is it’s too big for a daily carry. Congratulations on your find!

I just purchased the standard x-pro2. Now I want the graphite one!

Maybe you can help me with this phenomenon. I’ve owned the xpro2 since it came out, so it’s seen some things. Recently the amount of photos I can take with it has cut down to half. I usually would get 800 photos on a 32gb card for example. Now it only claims to hold 392 or something around there. I’ve tried formatting, different cards, firmware resets and downgrades, no luck. Have you heard of this before?
