Actually, this is a really important point - even if the parents were tidy, children would not automatically understand 'clean your room'. When I was a child, 'clean your room' meant 'get your toys and drawings out of visibility'. So what did I do? Drawings went under the carpet, and toys were shoved wherever they fit in cupboards and drawers. Did that mean my room was clean? No. And what happened when I wanted a specific toy? Everything was taken back out on the floor, until the toy was recovered. Because this is what kids do, when you don't help them organise. I think I taught myself this around 11 years old. At that age, you tend to have a shift in your interests, and many have sort of a 'purge' to get rid of old toys, and make the room look more 'mature'. We tend to expect kids to know these things automatically, but they don't. It needs to be taught. And there are plenty of easy ways to do this.
I'm glad my mum disciplined me and my siblings when we were younger . Lord have mercy this is just nasty , what makes this worse is they are self aware so there's no real excuse .
Hoarding is psychological and usually to do with loss of fear of loss or to fill a void...can also be learned behaviour.. What a fantastic family and hats off to Mum who wears so many hats x
I think the problem with these families is that they have a lot of space and in the west people are more exposed to a culture of consumerism, buying is very easy and encouraged.
U can't expect the boys to be happy about selling all their stuff and giving the money to their sister!? Why does she get it all it's not like they aren't Ganna go to college either...
The length of a boy or man's hair has absolutely nothing to do with their character, integrity, honesty, respect, kindness, compassion, or contributions to society and others. Judging others by the length of their hair, however, speaks volumes of the character of those who do so.
I bet they dont bath either. This type of living goes hand in hand with lack of personal hygiene aswell. They look unclean. Mums is a slob, kids are lazy.
I don't believe people should be rude to other people when talking about there stuff. People can accomplish a lot by being kind and considerate . There is no excuse for rudeness.
Completely agree. This is a nice family and they are being humiliated. Let Kim have a go at being an audiologist or first year university work. They know their house is a big mess and they all feel terrible about it. They are lovely kids, well-mannered and respectful.
excuse me? majestic? looks too modern to be considered majestic. I'm sorry but alot of modern building designs look like dumps to me. This one's not too bad but I certainly wouldn't call it majestic
