Okay so I'm here on Dec 1st of 2020 and I want to leave a few words. I used to be a regular viewer of Ingrid's channel back in 2015-2017. She influenced me in many different ways back then. I got my fashion lessons from Ingrid. I was obsessed with Ingrid's apartments during that time. I used to rewatch her old apartment tours and room tours again and again. It inspired me so much but it also gave me a desperate consumerist mindset for a while. I was just a student who was completely dependent on her parents so it was a bad timing. But I got into sustainability soon afterwards so I turned out fine. Even though I knew everytime I watched her videos I wanted to bring more stuff into my room, they were also inspiring and gave me some cool ideas. So I decided to create a balance between those two and took that as a challenge for myself. I never did really unsubscribe from her channel but I ended up losing mine so when I opened a new channel I somehow ended up not susbscribing to her channel again. The same thing happened with other influencers as well. My interests shifted so I lost touch with a lot of my old fav RU-vidrs. So I had basically no updates on Ingrid's life for the past few years. Now after all this time, I'm here and I see her saying goodbye to YT. And it makes me regretful for not keeping up with her updates anymore. She certainly has grown a lot as a human being and has become such an amazing and inspiring person. I'm sorry I wasn't here for that. I certainly could've learnt a lot more. Ingrid, if you're reading this, I'm sending lots of love and well wishes on your way. Have a happy, content life. You deserve it.

I have those exact same Calatheas. They are so easy to take care of, mine has been having new growth. They love indirect sunlight. I only water mine about once a week. They also grow pretty big! You should look at some pictures if you have the time (: hope you enjoy your plants.

Not gonna lie though, your old old old old old apartment tour in, I think, your 1st apartment in LA (with the bar cart!) is my fave ever. Probably cuz it was exactly 100% my style lol. Still love your style now! Just had to share cuz every time you do a tour I think about that video.

I absolutely love the plant/shelf wall. I am trying to figure out how I want to set up my own desk area with two desks in my space. Hey Ingrid! I would recommend you get rid of the rug right under the air purifier if you have an allergy to dust! it's helped me tons since it holds so much in there, and can't be easily washed

Make sure to water those calathea with water that isn't from the tap or else the edges can get brown and sad! It's so fun to watch them dance throughout the day.

I think the tapestry would look really cool if you cut around the edges to make it a bit ruff looking & then framed it in a Large wooden frame - ya know like you would w/any lovely textile.......tacked to a white background....or matting. just an idea!
