I love watching Home Theater videos on RU-vid, but a lot of them look very similar. However, this is something else. Very impressive, especially those main speakers.
Finally a home theater video with real speakers. . . . a tv and soundbar do NOT make a home theater. Buy some real speakers like this man did. Take a bow Putz, you win the day.
@R S Hollywood - depends on the room, sound, and seating arrangement. To me, 'theaters' are determined by those traits. The distinguishing difference between a living room with a tv vs a theater is the use of the room (is it a dedicated room), the seating arrangment (do any seats face each other even slightly... if so its not a theater), and the sound. Basic theaters start at 5.1... anything less is just a tv with upgraded sound.
K .....So my house not big enough for big speakers and so I bought Sonos playbar, sub and surrounds. Added to a Panasonic 65 tv, but this is not a home theatre!!!! It is to me and my family. Maybe one day I’ll be lucky enough to have a house big enough to include a dedicated home theatre. Be careful what you say cos you’re close to sounded like a dick!!! GORGEOUS SYSTEM BTW, PUTZMEISTER DELUXE 👊
This's what I call a real Home Theater! It was built with one thing in mind; to feel cozy and relax while enjoying a good movie. Some others are built to show off expensive overloaded sound systems; where you feel more inside of a Boom Box than a Movie Theater..
Elegant! Love the entire room. So unique. I have viewed thousands of theaters. This one is special. Exceptionally well done. Can't say enough good things about it.
Tron's audio mix is insane, also it has great tracks. I must have seen it about 20 times. I just played it on our outdoor setup this holiday season. We are running Yamaha DBR10's Berihnger Euro Live subs and a pretty nice xlr 32 bit dac with volume control. We are using a Viewsonic HD projector, makes a great mobile setup and we also use it in our hobby shop with a permanent screen and ceiling mount with the powered speakers and subs. The 4k upgrade will be here soon enough once HDMI 2.1 is commonly in place since there is no point in buying until then. What a great movie for demo day, I think everybody has their show and tell piece and I can certainly understand why you chose that film. Very nice setup indeed. I knew you were playing Tron in the first 3 seconds...lol
Awesome job! Love the dark brick and wood combo (similar to mine but yours is way better) sound system is impressive from here I can imagine what it sounds like in person. Well done again, live it and own up to it.
Many people say "Wow you want to dedicate or dedicated an entire room for a stupid cinema" well, let me put it this way. This is not just a stupid room it is more like this: "Feng shui or fengshui, also known as Chinese geomancy, is a science originating from China, which claims to use energy forces to harmonize individuals with their surrounding environment" So it is a place where you can go and heal your soul. Really good looking home cinema I hope mine turns this good.
Nice setup! I have a JVC X75r. Trying to squeeze a few more years before I grab a DLA-NX7 or whatever comes down the pipe. A friend of mine just installed his and it was quite shocking how great it looked ;)
Wow, great use of a small space to maximize impact. You obviously spent a lot of time planning this out. Great little details everywhere you look! I have a large room, but it feels barren after seeing your space. I need to up my game :)
This question has probably been asked and answered in the 500+ comments, But it would be helpful if you listed the equipment in the discription box, especially the speakers that pick my curiosity.
Very nice setup. JVC completes the cinematic atmosphere. I beleive you can achieve a more pure and seamless appearance by using a sound transparent screen. It’s what I always wanted but don’t have the space, you do. You are more engaged and focused, not destructed by the audio setup.
Sweet! ( only one thing I'd change... take the rabbits off the radiator... that's a fire waiting to happen.). Very impressive vision realized! Nice work
Nice looking HT. Would have liked to have known about the screen size/aspect ratio/brand...electronics, did the put acoustic treatment all over the wall? Or was that decorative? What kind of sub or subs were used. Sounded good theough. Able to REC that and I could hear it via my headphones, RU-vid video...heh..
I love the colour of your carpet and the contrast between your carpet and walls, it all seems to tie in very nicely, Can I ask what colour your walls are? Awesome set up you have there.
Beautiful! What are the measurements of the room and screen size? I'm trying to fit 2 rows of seating and a 86 inch screen in a smaller space. About 14 wide by 19 deep.
@@numanali4945 thank you but I'm leaning toward an 86inch led television instead of projector. But good to know that a 14×20 room will be large enough.
Love the theater. Seating arrangement is GREAT with the double center front row. Only small critique I have is that I'm not a fan of the cutouts/positioning of the receiver and amp(s) under the screen. Also... what front speakers are those? They look amazing.
what kind of speakers, what kind of subs, are you just using a reciever? How are the walls acoustically treated? what kind of projector, what kind of screen? Nice flex but why dont you explain anything?
Cool settup , my 92 inch projection settup is ugly but functional hope i ever have my own dedicated theater room (have mine in my bedroom atm) so i have some limitations atm , still its the cheapest and most do able option for me to have a cinematic experience.
Whoever did the build on your Home Theater did an absolutely fantastic job and great attention to detail. Are you using Crestron controlling everything including lighting ? The Projector you picked out has fantastic imaging, absolute black levels, no color bleed, pure crisp vibrant details. The screen as well has the perfect canvas. Absolute fantastic job on the entire project. Care to share any specs on what gear you chose ?
Tackar, jag är inte besviken på dom, skulle dock behöva en lite kraftigare receiver för att orka med om man ska spela riktigt högt med alla kanaler men funkar riktigt bra biampat i stereoläge.
Room looks very nice. I like the lighting as well. I also like that you don't have your speakers in the walls. Some people don't like to look of speakers. I love the look. Speakers are really nice furniture to me. Do you currently have or are you planning to add Atmos or Auro 3d? Since your rebuilt included turning the room around 180 degrees, how long did the build take? The space in my basement I'll be using for my theater room is pretty similar to the dimensions of yours. I'm hoping to finding theater seating that will accommodate 4 people on each couch using 2 rows with the back row on a riser like you have. I want to make as future proof as possible by making it easy to to run wire in the walls and ceiling after my project is done.
With a layout that tight you could probably get rid of the center speaker and use your full range left and rights and I bet it sounds just as good or maybe better with a phantom center.
It's 12' between the towers, I like the sound of the center channel in movies maybe because of how the soundmix is. When I'm listening to music I never use the center.
no chance in hell... considering its an individual channel...you clearly don't have a clue ...asking the fronts to play their soundtrack and the center .....lmao bet you've got a sound bar
Well done. Like what you did. What did you put on the walls of the HT room? Sound absorbing? Reflecting? Would hae liked to hear you talk about your setup..
Hello Mr. Putzmeister, I just wanted to say you have a great channel and I wanted to ask how were you able to afford this projector, I'm only 14 and I want to be able to afford this projector in the future, do you have any tips like what jobs I should try to do because you seem successful and I want to be able to afford a Home Theatre like yourself when I grow up
Anyway, putzmeister deluxe, the speakers are gorgeous. Congrats. A shame they aren’t on sale anymore or I’d deffo be aiming for a demo of them in my room. Well done man.
Putzmeister Deluxe yes, trying to find a speaker that performs well at both is difficult, but I don’t doubt that those towers do an excellent job. Can’t you remember the price roughly?
Looks like Dynavoice Finale 10 Tower speakers? I had a pair, years ago, and frankly... they weren't that great. However, they look amazing, and so does this theater :)
