Yes, Hellen A High school being called a College is the Catholic, Anglican and Presbyterian system. I live in the Caribbean and my island/country also have High Schools that are called colleges, both boys and girls, then some go onto university or trade/vocational schools. It's always nice to see where your partner came from or grew up and the place that groomed him or her into the adult they are today.

In Jamaica, we call High schools Colleges as well. I guess it's because we were under British rule back then. We still call them Colleges, and the more recently built ones we call them High Schools.
