Every woman, every man, every couple has their own personal tastes on how they decorate their home. It's not our place to say how they should set out their decor. We don't live there, that's not our home. If they like it just as it is, that's fine, it's their choice and their life and their home. Once they're happy with it, that's all that matters. Just a note about preparing the chicken for frying, I like to coat mine with cornmeal or cornmeal powder to fry. I find it gives a nice, crisp to the chicken. Maybe you'd like to try it a couple pieces with it and see how you feel about it. Also, I agree with the comments by some of your other followers about pre-seasoning the chicken and allowing it to marinate overnight to increase the flavour. When I became a wife, I had to learn so many things after being raised to have things done for me. It was an enjoyable journey though, and I feel proud and confident in my abilities now. I'd love to see you make or teach people like myself how to make some of your traditional African dishes.

I'm so, so proud of you . Please get me right and take this positively. (1) please wear an apron whenever you cook.(2) study the interior decor techniques to make your home a pleasant space. That's a backhanded compliment. "stop taking Kenya to Australia" is a very unnecessary comment! She is Kenyan and we have our own way of doing things and we shall learn accordingly, you don't have to put us down! We Kenyans don't even use aprons in the kitchen.
She will always be Kenyan and there is nothing adding a touch of what she views as beautiful from her world view. Even though she is African you can't put all that burden of carrying the entire continent on her shoulders she is unique besides being Kenyan and African... I hope you plan to be a Dietitian like me 😊 You marrried into a great family ❤ I say this with love: Please use another kind of of oil to deep fry because olive oil has a low smoking point and so if it over heats its chemistry changed and it becomes bad for us so I suggest rapeseed oil or avocado oil. Also marinate your meats/poultry/fish overnight....it will be tasty! Try cooking the day before too, that means you'll be more relaxed in the morning because soon you'll have assignments to do, you'll start to feel tired and all so just keep this in mind. I really enjoy watching you both & love your content so much. ❤

Now that you have started school what ever you plan to cook the next day you can prepare the ingredients in the evening so in the morning you would not have so much to do. You also need a recipe book Helen to help prove your cooking skills for your family. I know you are still learning it's perfectly fine but we expand our knowledge by learning through different strategies ❤❤❤ And cooking your lunches together with dinner the day before can help you cook better because in the morning there is no enough time. Preparing the night before actually helps and then in the morning you cook your delicious breakies🎉🎉🎉 Get trays to transfer your meals from the kitchen to your dining table
