Good video Jevgenij. What i like most about the X100 series is how it simplifies the photographic experience. Just one camera and one lens, no switching lenses or wondering which focal length would work best for a particular shot. While some might find this too restrictive i think it can improve composition skills. As an X100V owner I won't be upgrading as the V is plenty of camera for me. I wonder what other cameras Fuji will release this year, 2 more on the way according to them. I forgot to mention that the V is also the last X100 series made in Japan so the price on the used market may not come down all that much, especially as its no longer being made now.
Thank you for support! Regarding the limitations of X100 cameras I agree, but for me being a full time photographer X100F was a bit limiting thats ehy I got X-T30ii to have some flexibility. I hope next fujifilm will uodate X-E4 and X-T30ii and add IBIS to them, then I will consider upgrading mine. Lastly about production being moved I dont make a big deal out of it. We have lots of stuff made in china and everything is fine, so I wouldnt overspend just to get something made in Japan and not in China
Here in Sweden the x100VI is actually 100 dollars more then the body of the xt-5. The price increase from the X100V is almost 400 dollars here. I'm tempted to just get the xt-5 with the 28mm 2.8 pancake lens instead. It will cost about 2400 dollars for the lens and body and the x100VI costs 2000dollars.
Yeah! I dont even want to check prices in Europe as here always everything is more expensive than in US. And I think your option would work fine as I did similar thing when sold X100F and bought X-T30ii and XF27mm lens, saved some money buying an used lens
ND is really usefull, but as I remember on X100F it wasnt enough to shoot wide open in bright daylight. Have a great time with your upcoming fresh Fuji!
Isnt it allowed to share opinion about camera release? I work as a photographer for 10years, I had X100F camera, now I have X-T30ii, so I look at this release from my experience and share my thoughta on it
