There was NO miscommunication, she was rude af and her attitude needs to be reported. I worked for 15 years in the hospitality/food industry. Ain't nobody got time for that.
I worked in retail & the food industry for many years until I had to go on disability. That worker was straight up rude. I wouldn't dream of being that way ever. You did nothing wrong. Please don't second guess yourself or get too down on yourself. I would've done the same thing you did.
100% agreed. I work at a pizza place for 4 years, taking orders over the phone. All she had to say was "ok" after every item once she was done entering it....
That lady was extremely rude and doesn’t know how to treat customers. You handled it much better than I would have. You deserved much better food after that experience.
Timmy we were all waiting for her to say “mhmm” or “okay” to confirm the item you ordered. My introverted self would never go back there again and I’d be thinking about that interaction all day 🙃
On the rare occasions this happens to me, as a person with social anxiety, I remind myself that it's not my problem. They're the ones with an attitude, I'm not doing anything wrong by politely saying my order.
That was crap.. sometimes she would repeat the item you ordered so that’s confusing when she’s silent after you order the next item. That was her bad not your bad. I know I’m a Stan but I would tell you like it is Queen. True friends tell the truth.👊🏻🤗
Same I would have paused…and then be like “yeah you cancel my order due to your rude attitude” or at least would she said something when she asked how’s you day at the window like “would have been better if I wasn’t spoken to so rudely” nothing would have stopped me from saying SOMETHING to address how I was treated!

Honestly, I'm really proud that you didn't internalize that awful experience because I have a lot of issues with that. It's hard because when you have social anxiety, you automatically think you've done something wrong. I love seeing your confidence build!

Oh no honey, with that attitude she had and rushing you to order. I would have most definitely went back to tell her about my missing items just to see the shame on her face lol. She would have definitely had to look me in my eyes and apologize for me having to come back after being rushed.

Bruh she is rude as hell! I worked in fast food and it is stressful when people list off items without pausing. She should have said “ok” when she had it typed in instead of catching an attitude! hella unprofessional. Love the sass with “a small and that’s all☺️😒” 😂😂
I never eat fast food. I never vacation at disney. Staying at hotels, no matter how expensive/fancy, sets off my germaphobia. I do however ALWAYS tune in for Timmy!! Timmy, it was all her taking the order, with a huge side of attitude. No need for her to be rude. If she has a problem she shouldn’t take it out on a customer. Great way to lose a customer not get a returning customer.

It’s really not that big a deal She tried to redeem herself and Timmy did keep saying “and”, which many people would consider him ending his order, but he caught an attitude, afterwards. He assumed the head and neck roll, all I heard was a busy lady and some confusion on both ends. She seemed to hear herself after you explained and sometimes we just have to believe maybe this person had a very bad day so far. If this is what people consider extremely rude, you guys live in heaven
She’s a “keep the line moving” type. Nothing wrong with trying to be quick and efficient in the drive thru. Some people only get a half hour lunch break.

Ranting about it after the fact doesn't do anything. You can't stand up for yourself if you're not confronting the person who wronged you.
As someone that has been watching your videos for over 7 years, I can proudly say that every single time you go out to fast food restaurants (or any for the matter), you're very advocate about their work and treating them with kindness and respect. Never have I seen you be any less than an angel when treating a waiter. So I was shook when she came through with that attitude. I've worked for fast food places, being paid less than minimum wage and being disrespected by my bosses. But NEVER have I treated poorly a single client. You can have a bad day, you can be a bit grumpy, but that attitude? Had corporate been doing an inspection and she would've been on the line, hope you were okay :c. I know I would've been upset. Also you dealt with the situation so formally and proper... I'm proud 💁🏼♂
Hi Timmy! Love your channel! We went to Krystal's for the first time while visiting my husband's family in Georgia. I love White Castle and my husband always says Krystal's is better. When we walked in the tables were dirty and my son said no...we are not eating in here. Then after ordering it to go, when I went to get my drink the beverage squirted from both sides when pressing the button 😆getting on my shirt. The employees acted like they didn't know the machine was broken but said it was doing that all day. The burgers looked weird. We ate the fries. You handled that interaction with her so well when she was rude. At almost all the restaurants I have been at when you go to list your items they always respond after each one - as a way to ensure they heard you and got it down. Either by repeating the item, an “okay”, or even a “uh-huh”. But okay maybe they are different there - but she was still rude. You explained why you were stopping each time so well and she could’ve said “Oh no worries. I got you. Just go ahead and list everything you would like and I’ll repeat it all back at the end.” Or something along those lines. Either way I’m glad you enjoyed some of the food. I haven’t had this place or White Castle before so its nice to be able to see what other fast food restaurants are out there and if their food is good or not if I ever get the chance to be near them 😅
❤❤❤ my favorite Krystal items are a plain Krystal chik, chilli cheese fries and I would get an icee. About 5 or 6 years ago, they changed their chicken. Then I stopped going because I didn't want to drive that distance for crappy food. I think you were too nice on your judgment. Most items would get a 2 or 3. Except for the fries and donuts. i think you need to let that slide. she was overwhelmed, and accidently expressed that in her tone to you. she was pleasant and courteous in a very demanding business, and gave you a little extra pleasantry to make sure " in her mind" that you left "friends". still frustrating they missed something after asking you to "rush with them"

Some people have processing and sensory issues or bad anxiety and need time to get themselves together. I used to be a supervisor at a movie theater, if I overheard an employee say that I’d make them start over and slowly and clearly confirm each item for the order.
I once had a Dunkin donut lady tell me my car was too big and too loud (I drive a jeep?) and to turn it off to order. The way I just almost left…. Proud of you for not stuttering and being so nice 💕

She went out of her way to be a B. And looking at the food I could tell it was off. Those things look NOTHING like what my Krystal serves. That corn dog was the saddest thing ever and I could tell those buns were off. What a bummer. I hope you get a chance to try another location that’s better. I would've took my money elsewhere. I do the same thing and pause too. Actually had a employee be rude like that with me at Arby's a few weeks ago, filled out my survey about it. Have to say I was super impressed you didn't stutter with that interaction, it would've made me.❤

as a fast food worker often on headset i always follow every item with a yes, something like ‘lovely’ or just repeating back what i’m putting onto the system because that’s just what it makes sense to do! timmy ofc did nothing wrong
