RECIPE: www.flavcity.com/homemade-hummus We made homemade hummus. The key is pressure cooking chickpeas and using the leftover liquid to make a smooth and creamy hummus recipe.
I love how beautiful this humus looks. I love how you let Rose help and you let her taste and see what she thinks should be added. She’s learning the skills of food preparation. She’s hearing you talk about what makes your homemade version healthy and she’s developing her own little palate.
Thanx for allowing Rosie to help you in the kitchen; feeling empowered. I love how you speak to her; and the words/ affirmations that you choose to speak to her. Such as "the most important job" of the cooking process. Affirming her role/ input/ presence/ thoughts & opinions matter. She is being seen & heard. That's a blessing. Many children are not unfortunately. And remember you never know how your content may powerfully impact someone to heal. Wishing you & your family all the best & much continued success. 🙌🏽
My fave hummus recipie is BEET HUMMUS - pureed beets, white vinegar, lemon zest, lemon juice, tahini and chickpeas - puree it all together to get it smooth. Utterly scrumptious! Beets are super nutrient dense and act as a vasodialator - they open up the blood vessels, veins and arteries to make blood move and circulate.
@@ChicoDusty Sweetie, first of all, speak for yourself, not someone you have never met. Secondly, not that it's any of your business, but beets are the only food I don't like. I'm guessing you have a whole list.
I ❤that you are involving Rose at such a young age! You are teaching her LIFE SKILLS that no one taught me at home nor in school. Kids are amazing sponges! They understand WAY more than we give them credit for!
It’s been quite a while since I have watched, I think little Rosie was only about two years old then. She has continued to grow into a beautiful child, with a healthy appetite and a great curiosity around food, fresh ingredients and cooking. Keep cooking together. 🎉
She can be a toddler still if you want her to be. ❤️❤️❤️😊 Our babies grow up way to fast as it is, it’s okay to stretch it out as long as possible! ❤️❤️❤️🥰😂 She is absolutely precious!!❤ Thank you for the great videos you make.
You have no idea how happy I am to have seen this video!!!!! I have been looking everywhere in the world to find a Hummus called raw organic majestic ~ well, after seeing this video, I am certainly going to make my own thank you, thank you thankyou I love this
Hi, don't forget the cumin for a great taste and anti bloating 😂. Hello from a native Middle Eastern. Actually, we make it differently, the oul isn't mixed in. It's lavishly poured on top. Try it with fresh mint. A sprinkle of red Aleppo pepper flakes as garnish is delicious. Saha wa hana...health and pleasure pleasure.
I thoroughly enjoyed this! Became a New subbie 2 days ago. Little Rosie was just puuurrrfect! She's the cutest. I admire your father daughter relationship. It's so awesome. And I loved taking in Rosie's Beautiful energy🌞; the pure innocence of a child is so special and very unique.
I have enjoyed and appreciated your content from day one(well when I first started watching that is LoL) almost two years! Your approach and knowledge sit right with me! Your family is beautiful and blessed!!! Thanks again!!!
Your homemade anti-inflammatory hummus looks delish😛 Your garnish made it look even more restaurant-style! 💯❣️ And Rose-- I loved her yawns throughout your tutorial 😂
We need a Rose made product to purchase, then you can put it away for her future. I love seeing you two make things together. Rose is a little gem. Much love and many blessings and the hummus looked delicious
Finally a recipe video ..... been a while before we have seen these..... I missed these videos..... I notion that these recipe videos come back in the mix ..... I really enjoyed these
Your daughter is so cute, and it's super cool that your teaching her to help ..❤thank you for all the great information..I check all my labels carefully now..thank you..
I always use some cumin and a hot pepper. Love homemade too. If you only have stove top, if you boil beans for 10 minutes then turn the heat down to cook, it will get rid of the lectins as well.
@@justmejk it depends on the beans. Usually 40 minutes for most beans and garbanzos can be an hour or more. I will say kidney beans are toxic if not thoroughly cooked so I just get those in cans if I use them.
Bobby, Ive loved your channel since i found it a few yrs ago! Thank you for this beautiful recipe!! Im definitely going to make my own hummus now. But can you recommend a Bobby approved store bought hummus for lazy days!🌞🤷🏽♂️ And Bobby, by now you've learned to ignore the ludicrous comments. Keep doing you. You and your family are appreciated! 💙🙏🏼
Definitely delicious!!! I love making hummus at home too! Heaps better for you!! And Rose is a gorgeous little preschooler now Daddy, she's growing up so fast! Yes, just past the toddler stage now I'd say?! She'll be at school before you know it! 😅 ☺️👍
This is a keeper recipe, it’s the perfect flavor w/the roasted garlic. The only question I have is using the liquid from the pressure cooked garbanzo beans. Are you adding back in lectins which were extracted into the water during the pressure cooking?
Your videos are awesome 🎉 thank you so much 😊 I always wonder any organic oil has to be minimum expeller pressed if not cold pressed even though they do not mention because if they use conventional method like using hexane to extract the oil then how can they label them as organic because it is chemical. Please let me know if my understanding of organic is wrong.
What would the world be without delicious Lebanese or Palestinian food? It’s incredibly tasty and healthy. It beats Italian and French food by far. I just love their food and I find it incredible how we, Americans and also Canadians, Europeans and Australians are so fascinated by their cuisine.
Thanks Bobby! it looks delicious, I would love to make that one day. You and your daughter work together so good in the kitchen, God bless you and your family.
You know everything Bobby, can't believe you don't know that the aquafaba(chick pea broth)makes a great tasting vegan Cool Whip! Love seeing ya interact with Rosie and I guess your Dessi slava is the Camera lady? 😋❤👍
