I didn't know you could use those bad boys outside. I have my plants in raised beds, but running out of room in my yard. This system seems great for saving space.
Yep you just wouldn’t use the lights. Some people have them outside in the spring/summer/fall and bring them inside over the winter. I‘ve considered getting one for outside but I know AS SOON AS I see a bee I’m out 😂
Just finding your channel. And I recognize your name from the LG Community group. I just got an LG that I was excited to add to my growing hydroponics arsenal. I am looking forward to playing. I started seeds a few days ago. Great, informative video!
That was very informative and interesting! I look forward to seeing your plants grow! I love that you added flowering plants to the top! Keep doing yo thang gurl!!!!
In the lettuce grow I’ve had luck with fruiting veggies such as tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, and peppers. The only fruit I really tried was strawberries but I had those in another system.
It turned out well! Most plants sprouted and grew, and whatever didn’t I just replanted with another seed. And then I neglected everything and it all died lol but that would probably have happened even if I had started from seedlings. The biggest benefit of growing from seed, for me, is the variety you can have - other than the cost savings of course.
