My Journey (4Weeks/450hr) as a new player in BDO 2024! ~ 

Thank you for all the helpful tips and for being a grate cummuty! All the info has been very helpful and I'v now got a better idea of what i need to do and start working on ^_^

Heres a few tips: 1. Join a guild if you still have not, your stats say 2% acc rate so, that means you either have not joined a guild or the guild is new and not gotten stat boosting skills yet. 2. Swap bheg gloves for leebur, can be delayed but you should since leebur at the point of your gear is actually much much worse. 3. Weps are fine at the same time not, you want a Kutum for PVE, the nouver is a PVP wep 4. You should be able to get a TET Blackstar from your challenge tab (Y) once you reach 61, get the awakening wep is you play awk guardian 5. Since you just graduated, you should still have your graduation coupon, go to Fughar and get a Pen Capotia NECKLACE, i repeat NECKLACE 6. For your lightstones, the ap ones are fine, but you can go predation, they are monster ap, they are the same price but instead of +2AP its +3 Monster AP, super minor but good to have. 7. After season pass there is technically Progression Pass, but its super outdated, but have good rewards, so treat it as a checklist. 8. There should be a few AWK guardians for your skilladdons, if not you can go on the class discords, there will have up to date stuff on your class. 9. Crystals are fine-ish, best to look up a guide for a budget build, but at your level you should already be 1shotting the mobs so its not TOO important, but its one of the easier upgrades. 10. Pets, you would want to think about what pets to upgrade to T4, and put a PO on them since you would need many of them to upgrade. Hedgehog/Llama are for gathering, Artic Fox are for Grinding 11. I would say ignore fairy for now, or just Cheer 3 or something and put it off until you get more petals or more familiar with the game (one of the hardest thing to get right and super p2w if not lucky) 12. As for other Misc items, you can get a Treant's Tear (Lifeskill stone 30% life exp) from one of your quest under Suggested 13. You can get a decent earring for doing the Eternal WInter Questline 14. You can get an 1 AP Ator Power Stone for doing the Ulukita Questline 15. You unlock 2 more crystal slots for doing LOML and also Black Shrine which is a weekly and don't need gear, decent rewards for newbie 16. Once you finish LOML there is another quest you have to do to unlock gathering mini-game should also be under Suggested, really good since when it procs it will make that gather basically 10x of the loot for 10x of the energy. 17. Have Fun, the game has so many things to do, its a sandbox so almost 0 handholding. Try not to burn out, you can always take breaks.

with the speed of the game now you're looking pretty good already for how long you've played and not really knowing everything. As a player that has been around a while, there's a lot of things on the gear wheel u could get really easy upgrades for by leveling or doing more season characters. One thing I would recommend of you're someone who has a lot of afk time, get started on setting up trading, it makes so much money for minimal input and is basically the only life skill I've managed to keep up with when I actually play, because its that easy.

I think you needed Bheg's gloves for a DR build. You can swap them though just go back to jetina and they will tell you where to go. BlueSquadron has a complete progression guide, It's a bit long but he has time stamps so you can just find the part you are upto then come back to it later when it's time to upgrade. I'm a fairly new player so I've found that helpful.

That mid crystal is a bit of a hustle. I've done it too long ago for exact step by step. All I can say it`s a 2 part thing and 1 of the parts is either Pearl Shop thing or w8 it out of an event/give away (if you don`t happen to have it out of one of those already). It is something called Ancient Spirit Crystal (or something keep in mind if intend to google, probably not actual name). It gives more or less 1 out of 3 options +2 movement speed (the good one, according to me) +1 Critical or +1 Attack Speed. You haven`t said anything in your video about those 3 base stats... they are a bit ~like weird and most people take em for granted but there actually is a bit of "thinking" around them being 5/5 all 3 of them Movement, Crit, Att (or Cast) Speed. Proper min maxing of them involves fairly expensive stuffs and consistent double if not triple of digits in millions per hour buff perfumes and draught + house furniture combos. However just having 5/5 on all 3 from Simple Cron Meal + crystals will suffice for most people. Or you can ignore crit for +3 per 15 minutes draught all the time, most spots now support that. Also Cast Speed is "cheat mode" because 2 of your most vital crystals (bellow super high end gear and spots, where things change) give + enough Cast Speed anyway. (those be "The Vipers"... you will eventually learn and understand what Vipers I am talking about). Also also, I did want to be sincerely helpful and you did warn not to be a dick, but if I am coming out a bit too ~erm explanatory rather than just what I intended to say ~sowee. So erm back to what I were actually talking about. you will get out of that mid slot is the +2 Movement speed (according to me) Which combined with the +3 (or 2) movement from the Simple Cron meal + maybe 1 from the boots, maybe not (because the other ones, not yours actually don`t have +1, but the meal gives +3 anyway me things, the PvE one) puts you on 5 base movement speed which is good at all times for everything... you literally get to do everything in the game that involves movement by foot from point A to Point B that bit faster, which even if you are not rushing... is still good. Damn me... So there is a Shop... in Heidel (and probably other places, but I know that one) which you "unlock" by renting the building with it (and the previous one in it`s chain) with contribution points like your worker nodes... Than you need to have a free worker in Heidel... Than you need to have a bunch of listed in the craft menu of mentioned shop (it is not by from NPC silver shop type, I am calling it shop wrongly so) items which you can obtain by stealing of NPCs and Central Market and gathering and processing. Than you need, with your free worker, in your rented workshop, with the "ingredients" in Heidel`s Storage... Craft a wearable outfit (on the armor slot) that if I am correct gives like +2 movement and +15% Amity (that is NPC talk friendliness, I think you've mentioned something that makes me thing you know that already). However you have that armor slot wearable (it also takes the gloves and the boot slot too and gives no DP) outfit... You need to use a Pearl I am pretty sure those are called that... to make it "Visual Set" (you can do that to plenty specific craft able pieces and they don`t give better stuffs than the Pearl Outfits, but some of them are just ~nice to have). And >Than< after it is crafted, pearl transformed to externally wearable... you need to via processing... for it to become the +2 movement speed ancient spirit crystal. It is no joke, that is about the process of getting that. And that mid slot the best source of those +2 movement speed, since in any other slot they are a of a better stat of the slot. (once again, according to me). Sorry for the long comment I just wanted to type all of that... haven`t posted under BDO video in a while.

I'm probably the 1 in a thousand that doesn't use the P2W tent. Really the biggest thing is getting the Villa buffs of which only one is really worth it. You still need to have the Book of Old Moon active for it to work. So, it's actually Pay to Pay more to win. Sounds like you are giving it a fair shake. BDO has been the game that I bounce back to every few months and play for a couple of months and when I start to get bored, I just go play something else until I get the itch again.

You should delete all your characters except guardian and start them again on season every time, you will get tons of rewards from season and most important all your alts will have PEN tuvala gear (you don t need to exchange for boss gear btw). So then you can leave each one in all world bosses and just swap chars everytime a world boss spawns, also will improve your family fame if they all lvl 60 and that takes like 1 day 3 days if you rushing really easy to build. Corsair is nice for sea content bc it gives +1 to all your ship stats, but the best for lifeskilling is shai she comes professional 1 gathering and alchemy from the start, also have more weight then any other class so you can gather for longer. Does are my suggestions to make your bdo time way easier

Open world game, so many things to do, but I don't know what to do :D But agree, they should give some guidance what you can do. About dailies and weeklies, I agree, they should change many quest to do once, and only leave repeatable which are useful in today state of game. Because many are so useless, they have they space in past (mostly) but today... And not only they are useless, they hiding good one.

You should replace for sure nouver shield by kutum if you a PvE player when you reach the huge bracket at 261 AP. Also for the crystal in the center you should check guides about it about how to craft the crystal with +2 movement speed that goes in there. From what i remember you need to heat a uniform from your class of any class that provides +2 MS but i’m not 100% sure so just go and check a guide there are many that exists. Swap for bheg gloves and i would go for dim tree for armor just personal preferences. 🙂

The mid crystal is your costume one. Put speed in there. Blue has guide on how to do it. U need ps item for it tho :(

I think people start using pay 2 win in wrong context, even if you play mobile games you would know what it really mean, and should mean. P2W is when to get best items in game you must pay, or you don't get them (or is at most impossible to get). When you can not pay a pany and get best items in game, without much more work than when paying, it is not pay to win. Because is not that this one card is in pay bundle and you can't get it without paying, and is best in current meta. In BDO you can pay, to move faster, but only this, and is not as it would be much faster. And in pvp it most time mean nothing. Good gear in pvp is base line, not finish line, skills, combos, strategy, knowledge about other classes or tactics are required to be even good, not best. in p2w games, when you pay, you win. This was meaning of this P2W, but not many "normal" games still have this.

I'd advice agianst watching blue. Kid is immature. Lots of better creators out there with more to the point information and maturity.
