WHAT IS BRAIN EDUCATION TV?
Brain Education TV provides mental health and mental wellness videos to help young adults with loneliness, depression, and anxiety. The foundation of our content comes from Brain Education, an academic study from South Korea that stems from over 40 years of research and application and has been practiced by millions around the world.
WHY WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH…
We suffered from high-functioning loneliness and depression our whole lives. We lived different lives in different states, but when we met, we realized we were struggling with common issues that reflected an important problem in our young adult generation. We didn’t know who we were, what we were passionate about, what we should live for, and what direction our lives were “supposed” to go. We spent a lot of time wandering in search of that magical ‘answer’ that will solve all problems (like I’m sure most of you are doing right now), and yet the further we searched outside, the more pronounced the emptiness inside of us felt.
Millions of people suffer silently from mental health related issues. Yet our society still places taboos around openly talking about relevant mental health topics like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. As a result, our young adults don’t know how to talk about it constructively, where to turn to, or what resources they have to combat this real-life threat to their wellbeing.
We credit Brain Education for giving us the courage to overcome our own mental health struggles and create the lives we want...and now we hope you can too through the videos we share on this channel.

Wow, Linda - I’m watching all of your videos and I have PCOS and Endometriosis, hyperthyroidism, you name it . . . I’m only twenty-six, with these on-set hormonal struggles, I felt as if I was aging rapidly. So, recently I have made some life changes including watching your channel and your commentaries, I also follow along with your exercises, and do workouts and cut down on coffee, eating better. Etc. etc. I am feeling a whole lot better since I have been navigating my water retention, detoxing myself, and I am about to read “Water Up, Fire Down” because that exercise has been helping me out this week actually. Thank you for sharing your stories, Linda!

This sounds so much like my story. I was diagnosed with UC at age 19, and like you, my doctor said there was no cure, I'd be on meds for the rest of my life, and would likely end up with bowel cancer. Then, around age 25, I began experiencing PCOS symptoms for the first time. I, too, was eating healthy, but I came to the point where I felt like I was allergic to almost everything I ate. I used to eat yogurt and oranges every day and suddenly they were triggering hay fever and digestive disruption. I'm 31 now and still getting cystic acne; and although I eat healthy, stretch, and exercise, my digestive system is a mess. Thank you so much for sharing your story! I'm very eager to look further into belly button healing!

Thank you for sharing your story. I don't have PCOS and that's awful to hear that you were told that at 18. I do have a lot of intolerance to food and the devastation of not having those comforts to enjoy is so real. I became afraid of eating anything that wasn't a "safe" food. I've been going to brain n body for 2 months now and I am having a lot of stomach issues lately but it feels like it's healing. I've only used the belly button healing tool once.

@@BrainEducationTV about 8 months I went to the doctor because I didn’t have a period for 5 months. They did an ultrasound and found multiple small ovarian cysts. They said it was pcos and the only thing to help was birth control. It was very scary diagnosis because I want to be a mother and I read about how it makes the chances lower. Also how women will become obese, be at higher risk for heart disease, and diabetes. I said no to BC and started taking inositol. Within a month my period came back! It’s now been mostly regular since July. I take vitamin d, omega. And some other supplements too. I have crazy mood swings and cravings, also my weight has flunctuated greatly and I gained 16 lb in 6 months. I’m 20 years old now. It’s ironic because when I was 16 I begged my mom to take me to the dr to see if I have pcos, (I’m dark haired Italian but I always had extra body hair than my two sisters). But they said I didnt have it after they did an ultrasound. I still have hair on my belly and face too. I also get pain sometimes when exercising or if I move a certain way my ovaries start hurting. I’m addressing the spiritual/emotional side of this:: with pcos you don’t ovulate, this is our creative expression we are holding back from the world. Also as it relates to our natural flow and cycle, connecting to my sacred feminine embodiment is important too. Finally, hormones are neurotransmitters just in the endocrine system, finding stress management is crucial. Diaphragmatic breathing is one of my best tools. Helping woman with embodiment, expression, and evolution of self is my passion! Lots of love for everyone going through pcos ❤️

Thank you for sharing! I got diagnosed last year and I was an emotional mess when I was told I'll have to take birth controls for most of my life and I'll have problems with having kids. The birth control also made me add sooo much weight and it's been hard to lose it. I still use it now but I've found out that there are natural ways to manage PCOS and I'm transitioning slowly (I've started with Omega-3 & Maca root).

Those with PCOS do have a higher risk to depression, anxiety and suicide thoughts. I have these struggles sometimes too. Hormones have a huge play, but also external factors like stress, high carb diet, or lack of REM sleep. I hope you are doing well and please don't hesitant to reach out to a health professional to talk about your symptoms. Help is out there, please don't give up!

Wow. What an amazing story. You are so strong. I am so happy for you. I am encountering so much negative advice given to the elderly like you experienced, and helping to turn it around with Brain Education and Belly Button Healing tool. It is funny, When I first saw the Belly Button Healing Wand I laughed also and said much the same as you. LoL. Since using it everyday it has helped me recover from a musicians lifestyle of heavy drinking and bad diet, to an almost healthy gut.I used to get reactions with certain foods and now that has all ceased. Also what I did notice was that I became more flexible. I was struggling to touch my toes, and within months of practicing belly button healing, I could put my palms to the floor. It was amazing. Thank you for sharing. Keep shining your light into the world. You are all making a difference on this channel :)

@@jayjayjayjaypee Hey Jay, so what I love about vegamour is that I didn't experience any withdrawal from stopping it. Meaning I didn't feel any hair loss return after I stopped using it. I got to a point where I couldn't tie my hair up bc the sides looked SO EMPTY I was so embarrassed. But after using vegamour for 3 months now I have enough hair on the sides so it LOOKS NORMAL and I don't feel embarrassed at all to tie my hair back. I think this would help me, but I’m terrified because touching my belly button makes it feel like my guts are going to fall out of my vagina. I have endometriosis, bowel issues and bladder pain. Hey Breanna, I definitely understand the uneasy feeling. If "poking" makes you uncomfortable try using your 3 fingers and pressing below your navel. Although it's still pressing, this area feels less invasive than the belly button. Try it very softly to start until your body acclimates. Let me know how it goes!! 💖

Did you ever go back to your obgyn and check to see if you still have PCOS? just wondering. Thanks!

Hey Simina, yes after I saw my symptoms going away and I went for my next regular check up... I got an ultrasound on my ovaries and the doc said she couldn't see ANY cysts! She said it was so unusual and she'd never seen this happen before so she asked me what I was doing differently. Since then I haven't had any cysts in my ovaries or any other symptoms from PCOS- except for the occasional hormonal pimples around the time of my period ;)

@@BrainEducationTV WOW thank you soooo much for sharing your experience!!! I find you to be very inspirational and it gives me hope that I can finally heal from pcos. I've been coping with this a very long time. I've never heard of bellybutton/these healing techniques. Are there certain foods you've cut out or noticed the most benefit for managing this? I became gluten intolerant as well and dairy, artificial sweeteners/chemicals, and flours affect me a lot. This was a godsend for me. I was losing hope and praying for healing and your video popped up in my recommended videos today. Thank you so much for being vulnerable and sharing to help others. Sending you love and gratitude 💖💕💞

Weirder things have happened, people have known to be healed from terminal cancers simply through placebos and self healing, there's a book by a DPT and many other medical professionals who have suggested that placebos can be just as effective
