In mid 2020 I became a Muslim alhamdulillah. This is my revert story video where I talk about what made me interested in Islam at the start of the year, what people and places influenced me. I explain how I learnt about Islam during the time of Covid, doing Ramadan on my own and how I worked out the right time to do my Shahada in my home Country at London Central Mosque (my full Shahada video is the next video!).
I intend to make regular videos about my experience as a revert Muslim inshallah. I will be posting about what I'm learning so I can use this community to help keep me learning and to help keep you learning too!

The reverts don’t even know how they inspire us as well. As a born Muslim, when my imaan is on the low side, I watch all the reverts video and I get so emotional. May Allah swt lead us all to the right path.

Alhamdulillah!!!!! I’m a revert too since 23 years, it's incredible. My previous life as a non-Muslim feels like a distant dream or a nightmare. It's the best I've ever been given I haven't regretted a single day in my life and I love to feel close to Allah. Welcome my new sister! I recommend listening to Omar al Hisham and Noreen Siddiq( he recently died may Allah grant him paradise) recitation of the Quran on RU-vid since they have BEAUTIFUL voices mashallah , I also recommend “ Islamic Guidance” Channel on RU-vid since it raised my faith. Some people reverts after reading the quran... some after experiencing how muslim lives.... some after listening and watching muslim pray... Is there any doubt about Allah, the creator of heaven and earth? . ..(surah 14:10) ALLAH created heavens and earth in 6 days.-(Quran-10:3) Proof of evidence from Bible, Etymology ,ancient Hebrew root, Theology ,Lexicon , Early bible Commentaries, Biblical Cyclopedia ,Internatonal Standard of Bible Encyclopedia standard of Palestinian targum, Palestinian talmud etc. all these sources proves ALLAH is true word. As for the first paragraph you wrote, it's a practice in our religion that the pious person in our community give a little bit of dates in the new borns mouth. What is the issue with that? You can try your best to turn ppl away from the religion of God, but you will surely fail. Ppl like you always existed, ppl like you always tried to turn ppl away from God- but you will fail. Seeing all the reverts in the comment section makes my heart so full! Alhamdulillah may Allah SWT bless you all and grant you happiness and success in this life and the next insha'Allah. In high school I was uncomfortable and embarrassed to be viewed as a muslim and strayed away a little away astagfirullah, may God forgive me. Alhamdulliah, I'm now much closer and just started to observe the hijab too and a lot of these videos and seeing reverts that are so kind-hearted and captivating in speech and manner made me become closer and be proud to be a muslim. Don't get me wrong, I still have ups and downs and in my life too not everything seems clear atm, but one thing I'm assured of is God and His plan. I did not expect to see so many reverts from different countries and it fills my heart with so much joy and love. I am a Chilean, born and raised in Canada. I have been in the process of converting to Islam for a few months. I just finished my university Islamic course, have been reading through my own Quran, and researching online. This is all very new to me and I have found myself feeling overwhelmed that I will not be “prepared” enough, or know enough, or my fear comes maybe not representing myself as a proper Muslim. But after watching the video, and your video on taking your Shahada. I can say with full confidence I am ready to take my Shahada. But after watching your video, I will have to reconsider my opinion. I mean if visiting these places has such a powerful impact on people, who are we to stop it?? So I am not against it anymore. Your opinion and my opinion does not matter. It is not allowed for non-Muslims to go to Makkah. For madenah they are not allowed to go inside the mosque itself

@@mr.y981 Well, When I lived in Saudi Arabia, non-Muslims could not enter Makkah or Medina at all. But after watching this video, I think it may be appropriate to allow them to at least visit these 2 cities and soak in the Islamic atmosphere as it is a form of Da'wah.

Sunnyllaneous peace ✌🏻 Rather than a midlife crisis i would say it was an awakening of the soul or fitrah as they say in Arabic. I had a similar thing happen to me at 23 years old and i left the Jehovah’s witness faith to become a Muslim. Islam answered all of my questions and concerns i had with the Christian faith/s and actually encouraged these questions. The Quran says that we should reflect and ponder and seek for knowledge.

I am not religious personally but I found this video so interesting and empowering in a way to see you becoming who you truly want to be. Especially the process of researching, learning and growing that you went through. Living in London and working in the very diverse transport industry I was around a lot of Muslims for the first time in life. For example many of my colleagues fasted. I had very good female Islamic friends who did not wear Hijab but were practising and all those showed me that the image in the West of Islam being anti-feminist simply wasn't accurate (for example one of Muhammad's wives Aisha). The problems that exist are much more political and cultural than religious. Not quite sure where I am going with this, I don't share your beliefs but I respect them and I look forward to following your journey.

Yesss its so so true that so many images of Islam are incorrect and I have realised there is a huge different between Culture and the religion itself and I am really making sure I learn from the core of the religion, not cultures. As for your irrelevant narrations - what are you trying to prove? If a baby urinates - Prophet Muhammad explained how to purify the area. Why are you mentioning this non stop? If there were dry sperms present on the garments, the narrations explains how they were cleaned. Our prophet told his followers how to even cut one's nails. As regards to your misunderstanding about suckling milk. The scholars have written that the wife of Abū Hudhaifah Radhiyallāhu Anhu poured her milk into a utensil from which Sālim Radhiyallāhu Anhu drank the milk. He did not drink directly from the breast of Abu Hudhaifah Radhiyallāhu Anhu’s wife. You can try your best to find faults, but you will not find faults in Islam. The reason is because this religion is from God. You on the other hand, trying your best to lie and create mistrust. You are the one who is following the footpath of the Satan. If you are truthful, then you will apologise, repent and ask God to guide you to His path.

Hearing this story and especially how the hotels were cheap and the bus was cheap and everything was made easy for her to travel to Madinah just shows how Allah bestowed his favour and guidance because her going to madinah was truly meant to be. Hearing this story, I can just see such a vivid picture of her being taken by the hand of God and brought near to him, subhan allah, it’s so beautiful and powerful!

It was obvious then that you've done some research on Islam but I didn't think much of it, the respect you've shown was more than enough to lit my day. Never did I thought that you would convert and if I'm honest, I'd rather you not since I feared you might just be one of those people who convert without much thinking or with ulterior motives. I love to watch a revert and one's journey to Islam. It helps me to understand a non-muslim experience in their previous belief, exploration and appreciation to a new faith. I am a born muslim and i am thankful for such a blessing. I hope and I say my prayers, that this blessing of faith is with me until to the last breath of my life. Your story is so touching and amazing. As someone born Muslim it's stories like these that really makes me see a different view and journey to Islam. Another thing that you're doing right is to take it easy. I have kids who are not yet of age to pray, but it's important to start with a few prayers and start doing small things before you get into it, as the religion was not intended to be difficult.
