Don’t matter, pro or not. They all smack him up because main man is just an average jo guys. Great content creator! The best imo, intermediate tekken skills in the pro scene. I think that’s fair to say.
@@Ambuila75 not intermediate. They are as much a normal player can achieve if they played the game as long as he did. It's the consistency of play that gave him some superiority rather than having any talent for it. So there's as far as he can go, and your point that average players especially low ranked ones look up to him. Especially kids, and new comers. But yeah he's a successful streamer for the same reason.
Devilster is absolutely godlike those rounds were so good. By the way Riddles, our Smash Bros GIGACHAD won another major you should react to this he played so well
You played well, unfortunately devilster and you couldn't play well in the lag but even then he still pulled off crazy optimal combos and punishes! If the connection was 5 bar, well then RIP mainman
It's all just muscle memory. Clearly shows how much he grinds in training mode. I bet he could easily do these combos wearing a blindfold and earplugs.
As a fangirl of Jin and Devilster, I am honoured to see him here, playing against TMM, and the fact that he is from Pakistan, like me, is honourable, to say the least 😀✨
Didn't know what was going on in the first round that was too much: You can't electric, his wall hit whiffed and the connection suddenly turned from 1 bar to max bars
If there's a good thing about living in underdeveloped countries it's defo that we aren't simply used to the lag. We were born in it, molded by it. Lag is our second nature. Literally 90% of any matches I play are 2 bar. Block punishing anyone feels like the greatest achievement you can do
Bro I'm in Africa😂 I can connect to fckn no one on a good connection, only people in my region and European and Brazillian players, that's it. It's so awful I don't know why I still invest in playing the game to be honest. Tekken 8 better step the fck up with their netcode and sht.
Yeah, am so happy to see that he has inspired alot of Jin players who thought they couldn't go against these already well known characters like kazuya.
If Tekken 8 has netcode on par with some of the 2D games that have come out in the last few years, the Tekken community will be in for a wild ride in the best way.
Great tekken vid also, I recognize KOF 96 when I hear it. Esaka? Rumbling in the jungle. Krausers music etc I didn't hear pyscho soldier remix though, lol
I've been waiting for TMM vs Devilster forever and the video has been out for 2 weeks now and I didn't know 😢 my notifs are on what. Anyways I'm so excited
Great set. Felt really hyped to see two of my favorite players duke it out.. one question i just wanted to ask. @13:38 wasnt an optimle combo on devilster's part right. He could have saved the screw for later.
Yeah, it wasn't optimal. I think Devilster preferred to get a more advantageous oki situation after, which is why he only did b3. I'm always used to seeing him take everyone to the wall and kill them instantly lol
This is one of those videos my ADHD ignored and I was able to fully watch the whole video! And props for appreciating Pakistan players! 2 bar without roll back netcode sucks ass! It's like trying to predict if you hit and if you do confirm, the 100ms to response time will make your punish whiff. So all skill showed imo!
Cool to see you play vs devilster but everyone knows hellsweeps are completely unreactable on a 2bar sadly. Would love to see you guys play with good connection
He's playing Jin, who is one of the hardest character to play, like it's a 5 bar connection match, even though it's actually a 2 bar matches? Devilster is crazy good.
@@NormalHatter Because it's not. Really, execution on jin isn't that hard. So it's like whatever. In season 0 we might argue that some maximized combos surely required higher exec than now, but really now it's a joke. Devil jin, heihachi and kaz are way harder, both fundamentally and execution wise. The only "hard" part of jin Is the higher list of good moves that he can throw, so people say it's hard to play because of this, but imho actually it's not. Since you have so many moves to throw, It makes harder for the opponent to react and expect certain strategies, unlike the rest of the mishima roster that has only 5-6 good moves. Jin has everything in his kit, pokes, hellsweep, electrics, godly parry, good movement, good strings, good evasion moves and on top of that the execution Is lower. By saying this i don't mean that devilster Is not good, quite the contrary. But In High level play every character is REALLY hard.
@@Seacae DJ's combos are otherwise easy to execute except for the wall enders. Those are difficult to time for the slump after the nerfs. Hes also got a good parry and a solid panic move in u4. Strings are lacking tho, but hey that is why we like him
@@tekkenkaido yeah i think you never touched Devil jin to say something like this. The nerfs on his enders did contribute for sure on his difficulty but honestly they're the easiest part. A proper devil jin relies heavily on electrics, so the staple 2 electrics into ff4 screw into wall carry is not that consistent nor simple to do.
I really like devilster, but from seeing a lot of his gameplay and main mans gameplay I'd say the score would be around the same as it was here. Both of them dropped combos they usually hit and both of them do dumb stuff that probably wouldn't have worked on a good connection. It's not like either of them sit around playing on 2 bars to know the best way to cheese the other person, and the fact it was 9 games long should at least give some indication of where they're at in relation to each other. It's not perfect of course, but even if it was, upsets still happen.
The main reason why devilster is such a good player is his movement he moves in and out of striking distance very quickly. I see him play a lot and I do think he gets predictable but easily one of the best jins.
He plays on Keyboard that’s why his movement is strong as it is. But i See that he lacks stand up game he doesn’t poke alot with df1 and d4 like CBM does. What i know is that if you are hellsweeping alot with Jin.That indicates that you can’t open ur opponent up well with pokes. But he likes doing alot of hellsweep as if Jin is A Mishima and does too much EWHF. And he can’t play P2 aswell, that’s risky af if you are signing up for tourneys.bc you will be playing on P2 alot that’s where it becomes a problem in my opinion
I wanna see Devilster play on the 2P side (from his perspective). All his videos I see are always on the left side. I just wanna see his godlike skills in 2P side. If there are any, link to me pls!
He can´t play on P2 according to him it´s difficult on keyboard. But he can´t soo that´s why he might struggle when he goes to big tourneys, It´s like his weakness i´ve spotted.
2 bar connection is still a shame because the game can't be played normally. You shouldn't have to adapt to 2 bar connection. Some ppl can adapt to lag better than others but it's a skill that shouldn't be necessary.
