One time my neighbor rented his home without a contract/lease (whatever), so he couldn't throw her out with her in it, so he called the cops and one of them steps aside and ask him if he has any contract signed, he says no, the cop tells him to wait for her to leave the house, changed the lock and put her shit on the street, ofc he did it! I called him to let him know when she was out! Now she calls the cops because she cant get in and the cops said that she hasnt any legal right! hahahahhahahahahaha (sry for my bad grammar)

I think you are on a great trajectory with the content so far. Its nice to hear these stories without the usual pretension or fluff that comes with this territory (as in how are car is an extension of a soul and if you dont believe that you are not a true auto buff, along with the usual sepia edit and symphonic backing track). In-spite of these stories being so outrageous in comparison to my own experiences, the format and people are relatable. If only one thing, the voice audio seems to be a bit 'hit and miss' in quality between uploads.

cops are like medical hospital they have triage that mean they focus on high level crime such as big scandal or homicide and then do or commit less resource to certain case that is not so life and death

There are certain laws and regulations in the rental world where it can get to a very thin line whether someone "stole" or extended rental etc.. in the eyes of the law on paper. We all know what it is, they clearly stole the vehicle at a certain point BUT the police need probable cause to make an arrest and to convict has to be beyond reasonable doubt..not because I said they stole it. In the rental world, its not so cut and dry as it seems in matters like this. Although, I agree at a certain point, the police should absolutely be taking this into their hands. In his situation, you're only looking at a week or 2 span which in their eyes is not very long. Kind of like missing persons. You cannot officially report a missing adult until after a certain time period. You cannot come after 3 phone calls not answering and ask the police to help. There is fine lines about adult rights to privacy they cannot cross etc...

MediPhorm and you are completely wrong yourself you can file a missing persons report after only a few seconds. Now after a few days have past it becomes something of a matter where you will actually be taken seriously but usually the way people are found in time is if they report within hours not days. The whole you have to wait thing is a Hollywood myth that has ended up costing people lives

They cant hold anyones cars, the fuck...... they would need to see the title of ownership, but first they would need Authority to do such thing and they are only valet service. Also it will be bad for Restaurant business for them to get involved... plus he said it was parked outside, so it was probably not valet...

@XclusivePower yeah but how can he prove the guy hasnt paid? You will need bank statement of transactions and agreement which you will have to have in hand and the police presence and the restaurants cooperation within less than 30min before they guy leaves.

@XclusivePower they cant take it back if you already rented the car and paid . For example, if i Rent an Apartment, the owner/landlord cant come in the middle of the month and say i want my apartment now, so leave today. But at the end of the day if the car is in sight, the owner can take it back whenever...
