My Lap-Band Journey 

I'm so happy for you! I just got my approval from my insurance last week, & I too cried!!! I'm very happy for all of us ....I can't wait my date is Dec 3rd! Keep up with the great progress!!!!

finally, i've found some younger people getting the band. i'm 19, and i'm going to a seminar tonight. i'm ready to get everything going.

I have been at it for 9 months. and i am in my 2ns week pre op and im scheduled for July 2nd so excited!!

im 19 and i have an appointment with a lap band sugeon tomorrow (dr. richard collier in conroe, tx). i have done a ton of research and i know its for me. i am currently 280lbs. i am worried i am going to be one of the people that cant handle it but i am willing to give up my love of eating for a healthy life. and maybe i wont be such a shut in when im thinner. :P i want to put on a pair of jeans and feel good about myself. is that so bad? lol
