My speaker phone stopped working. I can hear, but no one can hear me. I believe my phone was unplugged while the forward update was in progress. How do I fix this?
This legitimately helped me. My phone died while I was working on my car and as I plugged it in, the firmware update message came onto the screen but would not load. I tried holding the power button to no avail until I saw this video and learned I had to press the volume button, too. Thank you so much

The same thing happened to me a couple times, just now when it happened for the third time I found this video on youtube and it fixed the problem. Thanks Man!!! Wasn't sure if it was malware or not but glad to see I can get rid of that screen and I don't need to reset my phone or anything to get rid of unwanted software.

Thank you! I woke up this morning to that update showing up on my LG stylo 6 phone after I removed my phone from the charger. Had to hold down both of the volume buttons and the power button at the same time for about 7 seconds and it worked! The screen turned off and I was able to turn it on regularly.

Make sure when you try this that it's not connected to the charger. I noticed that. When I had it connected to the charger. It would go right back to the firmware screen.
Its not a actual update. This usually happens when your phone is dead. Put on the charger. Let it charge about 2 hours then disconnect charger then Press the power button and down button at the same time.

It worked for me it reboot as I type. Couldn't understand the guy; had to watch it 5 times. He basically saying holding down volumn and power on/off at the same time even if it takes 2 minute. Thank you sir you saved me so much stress

It worked, we let it charged for 2 hours the reason why was because my battery died. I follow the exact guidelines and it came back on now i make sure I charge my phone reguluarly

I legit thought that my Lg Stylo 3 was hacked when I saw this. I immediately took out the battery waited for it to shut off and then restarted my phone. All fixed now. Yeah. 😄😄😄😄😄

Thank you, i didn't have this (i had to fix it myself, If you get this on phones in 2021, spam hold the thing, I mean like touch it and press down then your finger off then press down again and repeat, it'll bring you to a "Menu" Then tap it until you get on the option "Shut down" Then hold "Yes" Then your phone will restart and be just fine!
That's right this is due to battery drop (battery not enough) during any firmware update or automatic database backup and running using WIFI mostly during the night and as you know LGV20 will doing any firmware update or backup database during the late night so if your battery is not enough mostly will stack with firmware update problem. Things you need to do: 1. Plug in your charge to LGV20 phone for 30 miniutes. 2. Unplug your charge from the phone. 3. Unplug the battery from the phone. 4. Plug the battery back on the phone. 5. Turn on your LG V20 phone and immediatelily plug in the charge back again wait untill bootup complete and LG V20 logo appears if still stack in firmware update, repeat again step 2 to 5 for few times until succeed means LG V20 appears smothly, we need to be patient for these, mine i have to do 3 times step 2 to 5 before succeed just to avoid hard reset (because hard reset will delete all of our data and resetting phone back to factory setting). 6. My phone has been on the firmware update for a day now, it's still on 0% and I'm afraid if I press volume down and power key for a long time it will reset my phone
Same thing my tablet is doing the same I have LG 8.0 really can't get it it's stuck on 0% same as yours and I've done everything and pressed the volume down and power button but it's stuck and just froze
@@yolandawilliams8927 my phone is ok now, you should try calling up a phone company and see what's the problem! It may take a while for it to work again, try taking the back of the phone out and then press volume down and power key for long time! (If u didn't do it already!) Also, if you're phone is less than 50% then it may take a while... How long has it been stuck and does it say not to unplug? (Sorry if u you already took this advice but u don't have to reply if you don't want to) :)
@@kaylahale6429 well.. if it says "don't unplug the charger until it's up to at least 50%" then it's bad.. but if it doesn't say that then you should be good, if the problem continues you should replace something in you're phone, or go to a store and see what's wrong.
I literally tried everything, downloading LGbridge, factory resetting, and the only solution i found was to spray perfume on the charging port and then plugging in your phone. the alcohol in it makes the phone work again. Crazy idea, i know, but I literally tried it as a last resort and it worked!
No Way You are a Genius You Gotta be kidding me all day my phone would not get out of FirmWare update and I put some cologne on my power cord tip and plugged it in first nothing then I put more on it and sure Thing it powered up !
