when i first saw this, i thought michael was playing dumb because he kept asking what happened with his card. then when he revealed everything, i realized he was triple checking that he wasn't the werewolf anymore.

my face when i realized Michael didn't actually have to take Ryans card. he could have just left it there and called Ryan out and won with the other humans

@@19FireDragon96 Only other option at that point would be to force the ex werewolf to throw the game though. It's definitely a shitty way to lose, but i can't really see a good way to keep things fair in this kind of scenario.

@@declanflannery7377 if she was so bad at lying then why did Michael believe her enough to out himself as the werewolf? She sold that perfectly, she just got unlucky about who she picked as her target but whatever, it made for some excellent content.

@@keithharper32 Because that belief isn't based on her skill but simple stats. When Fiona pulls a bogus role she gets lucky and calls out one that is not only in the centre but also has not been seen there. That's pretty unlikely especially given that the tendency in this group is for the Seer to check centre. In an eight player game with two werewolves and a tanner you've got eight town roles to go with. Assuming the best case scenario for WWs (three town roles in centre) that's still only a 37.5% chance of picking a safe one. And that's before even talking about the chances of a seer having seen two of them which as I mentioned is likely in this group. This all means that if you manage to pull it off and don't get called you're immediately in a position of superior believability. It's just statistically sound to believe her without any calls to the contrary, hence why the table does. Compare it with the first round where Trevor holds off on announcing his role and manages to catch Ryan out because of it. It's not actually a complaint at all, I wholeheartedly agree that it made for the by far and a way most enjoyable round. I just think it's key to distinguish between skill and luck in a game in which both play a factor.

Michael knew (or at least should know) he wasn't throwing Ryan under the bus, he was throwing Jeremy under the bus.

The even more amazing thing to me is that Michael basically figured Ryan out, but didn't have enough info to build his case. But he was right on the money and could potentially screw one of the best plays in this show.

@@Axel8745693 and that lead into round 3 as Michael used his robber to after Ryan. Which wound up being the deciding factor as it made Fiona's otherwise well played gambit blow up in her face

It's funny yet frustrating when Fiona cries about that happening. I have the game and there is no rule against it. Fiona is the only one to get mad about that, where as Michael in the supervillains episode was outed by Matt, he didn't get mad and try to make a dumb rule like Fiona did. I like Fiona, but good lord, lol.

That would be because in the previous Werewolf/Supervillain episodes, no else has complained like Fiona did. The closest one to do so was Trevor, but he was just annoyed at people talking over him in the supervillain episode.

Once Michal said that the werewolf was in the middle all confidently, I was just watching him, to see his reaction to when he found out that he'd just outed himself.

If Ryan outs her as a werewolf, it means he believes every single precedent claim (basically every single switches than happened during the night). This game, for Ryan, there was a possibility that he was not a werewolf and there was a possibility that he still was. If one person out of them all was lying about what he did, it changes EVERYTHING (it means maybe he was untouched) and so selling Fiona out is NOT 100% the solution, it could lose him the game as well. They just don't lie enough for the second scenario to happen, so it happens to be a solution most of the time.

@@dzello I agree that Ryan selling her out wasn't 100% but it really just depended on Michael telling the truth, none of the other switches affected him at all. He just had to be sure Michael really switched him and there was no reason for Michael to lie there, he was incriminating himself big time by saying he stole Ryan's werewolf.

@@osiris201 Nope, you're incorrect, it depends on every single switch being trusted. Michael is the one that switched with him, but if any other switcher switched with Ryan and lied/didn't say it, it also changes the outcome! You always have to think '' what if people switched with this guy instead '' as an outcome. That's the point: EVERYTHING can be faked in this game as long as you master every outcome possible and play accordingly. The problem is those guys are legit hella straight forward and believe EVERYTHING because people... Are straight forward. In a game with actually good players, this wouldn't work.

fiona was the one that made michael outed himself without knowing it. because michael did not know who the other werewolf was, all he know was he robber himself with a werewolf and now he will not claimed he rob someone because that will out him. but when fiona claimed he switch jeremy with michael, now michael think he is on the safe now because of the switch he trusted fiona claimed switch because he didn't kniw he was a werewolf just like him.

@@justinesanityzz4311 But at the same time, people including Ryan believed Michal's Claim of being the Robber, which might have been a lie. Ryan could have chose not to believe it, and still hid who the other werewolf was. After all, as they said before, they know NOTHING about who or what is in the middle. Ryan took what could have been a lie as fact, ousted himself as the werewolf in truth, and told on the other werewolf. But Michal could have easily been the Tanner, making shit up to get himself ousted by claiming Ryan was the Werewolf again, and didn't know he actually WAS the werewolf a THIRD time in a row. But Ryan took him as Truth, and fucked over Fiona cause of it. If Michal had been lying about being the Robber, Ryan would have lost with Fiona.

@@Jirodyne Ryan took Michael as truth, because He knew he started as a werewolf, and Michael outed him as the werewolf then admitted to taking his place. Ryan didn't have any reason not to believe the utter disgust Michael displayed at Ryan being the wolf 3 times in a row, If Michael hadn't spoken up then there was a chance that he would have won as a Wolf. He didn't have to believe that Fiona traded him with Jeremy, he could have just agreed with it and hoped she'd lied. Michael was hoping Ryan would out the other werewolf and it wouldn't have been Fiona, because she could have been the troublemaker.

Well of course Ryan is going to believe it. Ryan was the werewolf, Michael claimed robber because Fiona claimed troublemaker so Michael thought he was in the clear and was a townie. Michael had no reason at all to lie about it and knew for a fact that Ryan had been a werewolf so that collaborated his story. Michael believing Fiona, that is the reason it went wrong because Fiona made claims but she can't prove it. But Fiona was so convincing that he believed it anyway.

In her defense, those exact circumstances have happened a couple times before (as even Fiona says in the video). I totally get her frustration.

That’s the thing, it’s the reason the troublemaker role exists. If you think about it, it’s weird that there’s a towny role that exist on,y to seed chaos, cos at least with the robber, the robber gets the info of who they are now. The troublemaker sees nothing, gets no info, and so is theoretically useless to the town. BUT they can, if played smart, trick the werewolves into outing themselves or each other.

The problem is Fiona doesn't understand the game and sees it as unfair, but it's not. @@dzello we saw that happen in the third round, michael outed himself as the werewolf and lost because he trusted every single claim before his own to be true, and since nobody countered fiona, he just accepted she was telling the truth about being the troublemaker and was blown away when ryan outed fiona as the werewolf.
