@@siftingsanta the classic Dark Souls 1 is perfect to start. Dark souls 2 is just a bonus once you understand the mechanics, Dark Souls 3 is an expansion from 1 and fantastic. Bloodborne is also a masterpiece of its own, the game has slightly different mechanics from the Dark Souls series and forces you to play with a different approach, like Sekiro which I am currently experiencing for the first time. I will say though, I haven't played Elden Ring yet because I know once I do, nothing else will compare. As soon as you hit new game+ in these types of games, you basically can look at a game and decide if it's worth it or not. Lords of the Fallen is more casual, arcade like, within this arena. I just finished Lies of P NG+4 100% 140 hours lvl 350. This game can not compete for die hard souls fans, from what I've seen.
@@MysticVortex00 I am completely new to this genre of game, so it's been an experience in its entirety! I have been told Elden Ring is king of all kings, so it's either sekiro or that next
I bought Lords of the Fallen from Greenman after the positive reviews and I haven't been able to play it past the tutorial area. My game crashed an hour or so in and I have not been able to play sicne, even after all the patches. I ended up uninstalling it BUT, here are my top 5 souls-likes! Dark Souls 1 Elden Ring Bloodborne Lies of P (That's right) Sekiro Dark Souls 1 is so old now, but you need to play i first, before you get into other Souls games. It''s make you appreciate the other games so much more.
bro this game is easy bosses but hard enemies for the walkthrough. i have beaten the game three times and still get lost in areas, but i have not upgrades the game once. still playing the first version and it has no problems or lags. good game.
Glad to see someone enjoying Lords :) I really recommend Elden Ring (although it ain’t a “Souls-Like” but who cares) and Lies of P. Earned a Sub my friend
@@ricklubbers1526Implication is that Souls-Like only refers to games that aren’t from Fromsoftware. But honestly I just call everything a Souls-Like 🤷🏾♂️
@@siftingsanta Also recommend Elden Ring and Lies of P. Lies of P. I would recommend going for Lies of P first, because it has much more polish than LotF, and then Elden Ring because that one is more forgiving, and combat is heavily based from the Fromsoft formulae, so expect it to be very balanced. If you can, try Dark Souls 3 first, because the enemy placement, combat, "difficulty" (or rather the strength of enemies) scales extremely well, a far cry from this game. It'll feel much more rewarding and less punishing, or rather much more balanced in terms of feeling challenging and rewarding. Bosses in From games though, and Lies of P are much harder. The bosses in LotF, atleast about a half of them, are a joke, so expect that change.
