Yes, I isolated her from the other Crawfish. But she still had guppies in her tank when she gave birth and it was fine. There was a bunch of moss covering the bottom of the tank and so the baby crawfish had plenty of hiding spots
I personally bread lobsters before and usually before they give birth the lobster is very aggresive and in some sercomstances, the babies will fall and the mom would put them back on her tail
Female Lobster can carry sperm for 2 years! Your lobster probably mated before you got her and is now using the live sperm she stored from before. also thats cool my dad is from Rosario Argentina

Hey.. just found my crayfish mating . I have 5 in a 55gl tank mixed with angel fish, goldfish and discus. Waiting to laid then I'll remove her to her own Tank.
where are you at come spring early summer you can trap them in in most creeks or ponds, depending where you are. and you can make a simple trap with a two liter bottle and some fishing line,
I'm not sure but they carry sperm long before they decide to have there eggs look up the life cycle of crawfish u might learn a lot my friend there are a lot of farmers that grow rice in the South they may explain some things if u gave them a call😊
