Lush gets such a bad rep from derms because of the essential oil content and it just kills me because it’s the ONLY thing that works for me! Accutane, medical grade, drunk elephant, cera ve, nothing. Lush skincare is the only thing that touches my face! Thank you for sharing ❤️ I use pretty much all of these too!
Samantha Staffa i always get so confused too as i’ve had several different Derms saying oh Lush is good & safe then others say Lush is secretly full of gunk & does nothing for the skin ... i’m like HUH personally i have a few staples from Lush i’m obsessed with
Honestly people freak out over the essential oils but they are VERY diluted with other ingredients, and the water you mix them with! Ignore those fear mongering idiots please and do what works for YOUR SKIN
Awe your welcome. I try to spread positivity and empower more women!♥️ I don’t have acne but I do have pimples here and there. I do have pimples scars thou which sucks😒 so I enjoy watching these types of videos !! Blessings sent your way!
A girl at Lush told me when you remove Ultrabland, the hotter the cloth, the more product you’ll remove. Obviously nothing that would burn you, but you all get the idea. 😂
Tara Ball please do me a favor and don’t let your daughter use this. She mentioned these products didn’t clear her skin because she went on accutane (that’s what worked). All of the fragrance ingredients in these products will do more harm than good to anyone’s skin. Check out Dr. Dray’s channel, she’s a dermatologist and makes very informative skincare video. She explains a lot why fragrance is so harmful to your skin.
Ivy Gomez56 I said that while I used them my skin was clear, I stopped using the products as much when I stopped working at Lush due to not being close to a Lush anymore. Yes I had to take accutane because later on my acne became more severe. Please don’t misconstrue my words.
I work for lush and I’m surprised you weren’t recommend “let the good times roll” as a cleanser or “ocean salt” as both are what saved my skin and are gorgeous 😊
Let the good times roll didn’t exist yet when I worked there haha I think the Christmas right when I was leaving was when it first debuted as a LE item. Ocean Salt is too abrasive for my skin though.
kiastry it’s a very light exfoliant. I use it as a daily morning cleanser. If you have super oily skin I wouldn’t recommend it though. Great for dry/normal/combination skin
Can you use any of the Lush cleaners (Angels, etc ) twice a day or is it better to use one of the bars at one part of the day and a pod cleanser at the other part of the day?
Let the Good Times Roll is amazing! That's what the Lush employee recommended to me when I walked in at Lush for the first time. Left my skin sooo incredibly soft!! I need to reintroduce it to my skin care routine.
I have combo skin and just started using the jade cleanser from lush and I love it. It cleans my skin and makes me glow afterwards. I exfoliate twice a week with sand and sky, and use Clinique toner, eye cream and their 72 hour moisturizer with my jade roller and Mario badescu spray. Works like a charm!
Thanks for the review! I really like how you showed us how you used the products! Both my sister and I have used lush when we were younger! I had good results with the fresh farmacy for my acne and my sister liked dark angels. We are both now in our early 20s
Please try to do a Dr Dennis Gross skincare review! I love when you do these entire skincare brand reviews they are extremely helpful and so fun to watch! 😊
There’s two types of the Mask of Magnaminty face mask! You have the original version and the other one you were mentioning is the self preserving version.
would you ever do a in-depth video on brands you find actually work and ones that are over hyped? over the years i get SO many mixed reviews being a MUA where “natural is better - no chemical is better” “this brand is clean , this brand is secretly full of alcohol”
That's why I titled it "teenage acne" since I took Accutane in my 20's, I could've fully click baited it but I didn't cause I know Accutane is what worked lol but Lush skincare did work well for my acne before it became more cystic, like I explained!
Lush skincare is truly not good for the skin. All of their products are formulated with fragrance, it’s okay for the body and hair, but not for the face. You may have great short term results, but fragrance is not good in terms of the long run. It increases skins sensitivity overall, and within sun exposure and increases risk in aging because of the sensitivity.
