As someone in the design business, I just want to say there's no hurry to finish this project. The joy of creating something is just as meaningful and fulfilling as having created it. Take your time. Savor the experience of perfecting each detail. And most importantly, give yourself permission to be human and make mistakes. LLAP 🖖
I cannot put into words how much I am enjoying this wondrous journey you have let us see, as you re-create one of the most iconic ships of science fiction! This is truly an awe-inspiring undertaking and one that will be appreciated by countless fans the world over! Bravo!!!
well This one is going Into the Guinness World Record books..Fantastic Work mate..the world will see this...and I Bet the whole of Star Trek officials is going to watch this
I always wondered what the unseen parts of the Enterprise looked like and how everything was connected. I think when this awesome model is completed, it should be on display in an aerospace museum. Well done.
Mr Trek, Just absolutely amazing!!! Seriously just wonderful, I loved the door opening sound 😂. I look forward to each and every update. Thanks for all you hard work, Adam B
Wow! Just mind blowing! It gave me a real chill down my spine! I actually felt I was on the ship and in that section! I remember when I first saw Star Trek in the late sixties to early seventies down in Cornwall! I remember got to a place that sold things for artists and people working on their houses! I remember seeing the same screens that were in the Crew's quarters on the enterprise and I instantly recognised it and realised it had been painted red! Well done to you for getting the mesh you did! Bravo! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌
Taking absolutely nothing away from you, I suppose the simplicity and lack of physical detail of the original set design is allowing you to recreate these spaces with astonishing clarity. It feels more like a set tour and not like a model at all. I find your skill inspiring and I am in awe. This work is just astonishing to me.
Mr. Trek, you mention "the parts of the ship that we never saw". I am holding my breath waiting for the reveal of what you dream up for those parts. However, like SoundAuthor says "Take your time", I will wait.
Having been to the 1:1 replica of the set in Ticonderoga, NY, I can safely say that in some respects your model here looks more real than the real thing.
Wow, thank you. Those sets in Ticonderoga are next level epic. To be able to actually walk on the sets of the Enterprise must be mindblowing! Thank you for that epic compliment, it's really encouraging!
@@mrtrek2117 In a strange way, the full scale sets seem oddly small. I raised that point while there and was reminded that, in the same sense that the camera 'adds ten pounds', the perception of the area of the set is also altered. If you do get a chance to visit, I recommend it. It's a four-hour drive from me and was worth every second. When you do go, they'll encourage you to take as many pictures as you wish. It could only help your work.
I feel like I could just walk to the station, sit down and do my duties. Thank you for sharing this, this section is possibly my favourite of the entire ship, well….next to the bar, the viewports in the dorsal section and the service area behind the main bridge 😉
The model is very impressive. The first static shot could be mistaken for the real set. Thankyou for the video's, there great fun. Enjoyed the choice of music to.
Sir, my jaw is on the floor. I am experiencing both feelings of awe and jealousy. I have been building a full size shuttle craft so I am amazed at the craft and level of detail on dislplay here.
I can definitely see you making a lot of content of this type I am just sitting here in Wonderland and then you made the little shush shush sound when you opened the door and I bust out laughing it was perfect. More of this please
I love seeing areas of the ship just off the parts we are so familiar with. So exciting to walk the corridors and peer into unseen parts. Simply loving the trek aesthetic.
😂I’m watching the vid, totally wooding because of your attention to detail! Thinking: I can totally see the different fight scenes from each episode in that room! Then: sound comes on for door opening!🤣🤣🤣 pure AWESOME!🤣🤣🤣 Beautiful work man! It’s obviously a work of love! Bravo so far!✌️🤘🇨🇦
When I first started watching this video I thought it was a real set to scale! And then after a while when you backed up I realized it was a model. lol
I came across you page a years back, and I'm so glad I did! LOVE this, I can see the passion you have put into this! Have to say I chuckled a little bit with the door... Well done sir! Thank you!!
Glad to be a part of this as you bring so much inspiration with every update. I love the hands on model building methods that are being lost to digital and 3D modeling; each has it's place though as each can supplement and complement the others.
This is simply astounding. Watching the "walkthrough" made me feel like I was watching Star Trek for the very first time. The way you can show us the locations that in reality would have been full of filming crew and equipment makes the whole thing new and exciting again. Thanks so much for all your hard work on this project. Im excited for you to be able to see in reality the images that have been stored up in your head all this time. It must feel amazing! Cheers! 🖖
Appreciated, thank you. It does indeed feel incredible to create these models and even more in the knowledge that it's all in prep for building the entire ship!
Those handrails are awesome! Thanks for taking the time, it shows in all the right ways. It really fools you on the scale, too, as it looks just like a steel square railing would look in real life, welded together.
LOVE LOVE LOVE all this stuff you're doing! One suggestion I've been meaning to make.... get a cheap GoPro wide angle camera.... even a knock-off. It makes the perspective so much more immersive.
Hello there! The design of your emergency shuttlecraft is amazing and very beautiful.I do hope that you will keep it in the ship and that at some point we could see some blueprint of it.All in all,the model looks great.Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see the finished model.Bye bye for now!👍
I almost got emotional watching. I absolutely loved the tour! You’ve done something amazing here and to get to see the core in proper perspective is truly special. Thank you and I look forward to see what’s coming in the future.
This is very impressive! You also said that you thought there had never been a camera shot from the top of the stairs, but there was on The Tholian Web where a crewman in red is affected, and jumps down on Mr Scott! Great work, again!
I continue to be astounded by your talent and determination to embark on this project. Your attention to detail is staggering. It’s truly incredible. I can’t wait to see the final product.
Awesome is a word that is much overused, but in this case, it is appropriate. This model is AWESOME. I can only imagine the amount of time you have put into this ship.
I have a feeling you just "Shhhh'd" those sliding doors open yourself. 😆 Seriously, another great installment to your build project. (Nice tiuch with the "Klingon" weapons on the ceiling!)
That is the most amazing work ive ever seen. The effort to do this is great. It is literally like taking an actual tour of the Enterprise. Out of all the various enterprise interiors ive seen i love the original. It seems more enviting. Good thing it was well lit. Just shows what can be achieved. You must have experience in construction of sort? The subject you chose is excellent. Looking forward to see the bridge even corridors and other rooms. William Shatner would love it. Well done. Fine work.👍🖖
