Instagram- AdamTheWooATW Flying is very nice to get somewhere fast but I wish people wouldn’t get on a plane sick and coughing. Luck of the draw on who you are sitting next to. Don’t know what the solution is because even the I’ll need to get home but bottled up in a plane together and hearing people hacking up a lung all flight really dampens the experience .
People and close quarters doesn’t mix, flying is very hard. Reason why my family and I haven’t gone on a plane yet and my kids are 8 and 11, anxiety to the max!
I haven't flown yet, since the pandemic. I'm planning to next year, but this issue worries me. I still plan to mask up, especially since I'll be flying more than 10 hours.
I remember when you got a full meal on every flight. I couldn't believe back in the 70s on a 55 min. flight from Chicago to Cleveland we were served a complete steak dinner. The stewardesses really had to hustle. They were still picking up glasses and plates as we were descending into Cleveland. Those were the days!

I've flown on your first Delta 757 N697DL from LGA to ATL in the early 2000's as Song Airlines. One of the first planes with seatback screens. You arrived at Atlanta using JJEDI3 approach, Star Wars reference. They also use Lord of the Rings and Braves players names (HOBIT1, GLAVN2). Some great parallel runway shots on approach to ATL. I'm guessing a KC vs. Tampa with a 7:10 game time? God bless the netting!
Love your airport/flight experience videos...I usually fly Delta but don't go first class on most trips, so I always eat before the flight and during layovers. I'm into having the IFE screen in the seats and on Delta all seats have them (as does United, I believe). Hopefully those people who were coughing just had allergies. I sat next to a guy once who coughed and sneezed the whole flight and thought for sure I was doomed to illness but ended up fine.
@@TheDailyWoo We also were able to board the plane and deplane the “normal” way, by the cockpit. I liked the way Delta took care of passengers with mobility issues. They were first to board and Delta treated them with dignity.
Same here. Flew Delta First Class on a 2hr domestic fight. Other than boarding first, there was zero real benefit. Flight back, I opted for the cheaper enhanced coach upgrade (forget what it's called) and it was just as good for less cost, and not boarding first ended up not mattering. Would not do Delta first class again.

When you say “it boards in 2 hours” and you’re not at the airport, it gives me second-hand anxiety😂 I can’t NOT be by my gate at least two hours beforehand.
Yes, even after all the flying I’ve done, I’m still a “get to the airport 2 hours before flight” because of my anxiety. This drives my husband crazy, since he thinks that is WAY too early, but there have been several incidents (overcrowded TSA lines, last minute flight changes) where this early arrival//anxiety has saved the day for us!
The glass walkway for the jet bridge is nice, but being from tornado alley all I can think of is that glass getting blown out all over the place like what happened at the STL airport during the 2013 Good Friday tornado. It is a nice airport though, just a lot of glass .😬

Did u hear about that Alligent plane from Avl, nc to Clearwater, fla having alot of turbulence when the plane started descending, they said 2 crew & 2 other passengers had to be taken to the hospital a couple of days ago...wow......always good to keep ur seat belts on
My Delta flight was no different than flying Spirit, but three times the cost. The new Delta flight attendants on my flight were sloppily dressed with filthy, cheap looking uniforms and shoes. I had two new crew members that literally couldn't fit themselves to walk down the isle. How does this work in an emergency? Their phone device had more attention than the passengers. Just a dumpy overpriced experience.
They say the air is constantly circulated and purified on airplanes that it’s unlikely you’ll get sick by being on one. Well, that’s what I heard during C19 anyway. Enjoy KC! Gotta have at least a sample of BBQ though!
That was an awesome experience with head phones on and taking off, it felt like I was on the plane with Adam. KC is one my favorite places moving my in-laws to. Moved them about 30 times.. Safe travels and eat some BBQ for me.

Airlines take it on the chin but I flew first class LA to Philly and it was fantastic! American. New seats. Cozy. I heard some whiny brats in first class complain about an arm rest that was loose. Some people are never happy in the land of plenty.

Adam don’t listen to anyone trashing your Taco Bell decision. If you’re in a pinch for food (like you obviously were)..their Bean Burritos are one of the healthiest options you can get from their menu when watching weight.
Their bean burrito with extra onion on the side is also really tasty. You can do a lot worse for a lot more money. The bean burritos used to be 2 for a dollar. 59 cents for a taco and a cup of water was lunch for under two bucks.
As you are such a seasoned traveller, I'd love to see a video showing how you plan and pack for a trip! I bet you could share some excellent travel trips! Love the video! Head north from KC and come to Iowa again! We'd love to see you!
Most people flying first class or business have lounge access and eat before the flight .The food offered in the lounges is good so you didn’t want anything in the air unless it is international or 3 hrs plus.

That looks to be a new(er) KCMO terminal. Last time I flew in\out of KCMO was in the late 90's. Wow, how time flies and has changed. Always enjoy your vids Mr. Woo. (Note: I hadn't watched the last 2 min when I posted my comment. So now I know KCMO definitely has a new airport.)

Love your flight day videos especially the takeoffs. Flew into MO old airport in the 1980's. Rented a Ford Tempo from Hertz which needed a front end alignment badly. I couldn't go over 55 on I70. Had 2 1/2 hour drive to my brothers house in Junction City, KS. Went the wrong way leaving the airport and the pavement turned into a dirt road.😅 Turned around and found my way to I70 west. I still have my Gameboy and the original box. The LCD screen only shows half of the game. Safe travel Adam.
one of the best recordings of a take off I've ever seen. Highly enjoyable, thank you. Diet tip, try to cut carbs. Stick to high fiber, high protein snacks, anything marked keto. Quest makes a great line of low carb snacks. chili lime chips are outta this world! and the snack bars are delicious. feels like you ate a candy bar.
I would recommend not getting any tea or coffee on an airplane, the water comes from a tap and can be notoriously bad (like health risk bad, haha). Better to try to get something bottled if you can.
I am guessing you are going to see the Rays play at Kauffman. You won't like hearing this, being on the diet you are on, but they probably have one of the best ballpark food items I have ever had at any ballpark, the barbecue pulled pork nachos. Served in a KC Royals full sized helmet.

Tonight's game against the Tampa Bay Rays has been postponed and will be made up tomorrow, July 15, as part of a split doubleheader with Game 1 starting at 1:10 p.m. CT and Game 2 starting at 6:10 p.m. CT. Tickets for tonight's originally scheduled game will be honored for the rescheduled game, which will be Game 1 of tomorrow's doubleheader. Fans do not have to exchange their original tickets if they elect to attend the rescheduled game.

Also, for future knowledge, you can look on your flight reservations and see if a meal is being served and you can ask at check in, even if you do online check in any attendant can help you with that. Generally flights less then 3 hours do not serve meals, only snacks. Glad you made it safely.
My High School friend works there for Delta as a Maintenance chief! You're right Atlanta is a huge hub for Delta and a few other airlines! You should keep a set of face masks as a precaution! You have to remember the Midwest from Kansas east to the Appalachians is Known as tornado alley!

You fly Business occasionally do you use the First Class Lounges sometimes? The first half of the vlog was good but the last thing I remember is watching an Engine spinning, after that a little hazy.
I’m 36, of course I remember the game boy! I remember going to the store and buying it. It was a surprise for me and my sister. But I think it was my dad that really wanted to have a game boy in the house lol.
I remember the TV series and episode when you mentioned William Shatner he was on an airliner and saw the creature on the wing. It was a black and white program.
$10 a day is ridiculous. I typically pay $8-$10 for COVERED Parking at the Parking Spot, and it is completely secured. Shame on MCO 4 charging that much.

The interesting thing about flying is that the pilot does not fly the plane ( unless of an emergency of course ) The pilot takes-off & lands the aircraft. A computer ( auto-pilot ) flys the plane to its destination. ✈️
According to wiki the monorails at the Orlando airport are classified as people movers, when they originally opened the featured the voice of Jack Wagner, and apparently he still voices some parts in certain areas!
I’ve been telling him this for years 😀! They are called “Automated People Movers”, and they have tires on EACH SIDE, so they aren’t MONORAILS. The electrical rail isn’t a load bearing rail.
