My Military Bayonet Collection 2022!!! 

I do wonder if I should lay off the firearms for awhile and start working on getting bayonets for my rifles.

Bout 10yrs ago I got the M1 Garand 6” bayonet that I believe must be a rare one, did not have a sheath. Finally this summer I found the sheath that goes with it. The man told me the sheath was even more rare than the bayonet. So glad now it’s finally complete.

Your big German imperial war, is a sawback but also called butchers bayonet also made with no sawback,believed also used 2ww

Nice bayonets keep up good work .the Japanese had leather and that hard material frog u have it was a substitute for leather the glue they used makes then stiff after 50 years that material was also used on there rifle straps ,pistol holsters and even on there wast belts but those are uncommon or rare as most were leather belt or a soft materal late war or material with leather ends !

great stuff! way, WAY back in the day i got my enfield spike bayonet for $1!!! out of a pile in a 55 gal drum. no one wanted them. i remember about 10 years ago a came across one in an antique mall that somebody had mounted in a shadow box that they wanted $135 for lol. laughed so hard i about passed out lol. im sure the proprietor had though id gone nuts lol.

As governments are taking away firearms from its citizens, the citizens are increasing the size of their bayonet collections. So, bayonets appear to be a pretty attractive investment. To see a good example of this, look at the bayonet prices in Australia since rifle ownership has been limited by their government.

Have you managed to pick up a m6 bayonet? I’ve managed to pick an imperial m6 with a DAS stamp . Early production pre Vietnam I think
