I’ve installed those same door seals. You have them on backwards I believe. One on your driver side door needs to go on the passenger side and vice versa. This will make the fitment look much better.

Nice work. I just did he same to my front arms and the rear one. Now I’m thinking about the delete tho. Gonna look into the door ones now. My car has come along ways. It was parked for 4 years. Now it’s back on the road and a running project. Unfortunately it’s not a Vr4 but really happy with it. Keep up the good work!

I'd say so far so good on the build man. Glad to here you're going with meatier tires because in all honesty this car looks pretty terrible with low profile tires due to the odd wheel well design. This car was designed for all weather conditions including mild off-road. Oh and on my flickr account I'm pretty sure I posted the prototypes, old magazines and press material. The designer of the car intention was to make this car really good in the rain and snow. I think that's why it's so heavy. Long wheelbase and heavy are key for heavy rain, snow, and heavy winds. Just my theory but the extra space in the wheel well is for dealing with snow. Something I'm not sure if you're up for but would be to remove all the seats and remove the interior carpet. This carus notorious for having electrical grimlins and cleaning underneath the carpet wouldn't hurt especially if there's rust hiding underneath that needs to address before it gets out of hand. Looks like you have superficial rust under the trunk lid that needs to be repaired.

The rear defroster works so well on this car you literally don't need the rear wiper at all, plus we have rainX now and you could wax it and any rain would just slide off. Lucky you don't have to deal with salt roads

I just installed these on the doors and when the window is up there is a gap now. Wondering if i missed soemthing? I am sure they are on the right sides. But appears like the windows are away from the top of the diir now when up

Looks like to me that you confused weather door strips (you have probably driver side mounted on bad side - conversely), it should not go over mirror mount. You can notice it @ 13:20

Ey your not the new kid .. had mine for a few years… always trying to find info looking for parts that ain’t super expensive like I order a new front hub assembly for my base model , told the guy no abs he said these one don’t have abs got them and they have damn abs ring around them spent all that money which I took them off and pressed new bearings but wasn’t the plan lol yet anyways. Just wish more people took interest and made some better custom shi t for them like things strength the chassis adjustable control arms motor swaps Transmission swaps or even stock parts ecu setups headlights something new not old and reconditioned
