My baby was born with major heart defects and she's going into the hospital for pre-surgery tests for her 2nd out of 3 open heart surgeries. That's where I'll be for new years. Thankfully we got to celebrate her first Christmas at home. Send good vibes our way ✨️

Irene I have to tell you darling how much you've lifted me up this year. Since 2020 I went from living my best life happy and active to now chronically ill and homebound. You've helped me look at the beautiful that my mental illness was making me overlook and to start to enjoy food again. Thank you and sending you love!

My aunt & uncle recently moved to Florida (I’m in Jersey) I for sure thought this was the first holiday we weren’t going to spending Christmas together. Yesterday, my front door opened & my dad shouted for me to come to the door & sure enough my aunt & uncle were at the door! I cried because besides my parents/siblings they’re pretty much the only blood family I have/speak to. I am just so happy they came home for the holidays.

It's not really an annoying task, but I finally set up a tattoo consultation to get my second tattoo that I've had planned for over a year. I've been scared because it's much bigger than my first one and has color where my first one was just black ink, so I know it will cost more and take longer and I haven't wanted to take that risk, but I also know that it will make me really happy and will be worth it for that.

This year was far from perfect. My mom is having severe health problems to the point where we don’t know how much longer we have with her…. I’m only 25 and can’t imagine a life without my mom…. I’m with her almost every day because I want to get as much time with her as possible. On a positive note my boyfriend proposed December 12th 2022 on our 7th year anniversary, in New York City, in front of the Christmas tree ❤ So blessed to have my fiancé and share it with my mom!

Where I live it's been so cold my water pipes froze so I haven't had water in almost 2 days. I'm really hoping for a Christmas miracle and that my pipes will thaw today. I finally chose my courses for my second uni year (been meaning to do it since November - yikes) and had my first dermatologist appointment for my newly acquired dermatitis (which I've been suffering with since August - double yikes). Hoping to start seeing a gyno too this year, and get a new gym membership (trying to find an affordable all women gym is soooo difficult in my area). And you're totally right, we've only got this life and we should live it to the fullest and it does feel really good to get stuff done in the morning.
