For your forehead and crows feet and 11s between your eyebrows if you have them, try the ordinary’s argireline. It’s very affordable and for my 51 year old skin works miracles. Especially my around my eyes. That said, you are gorgeous as is. Love your content. I only watch a handful of beauty RU-vid consistently. You are one I always watch.

Great tip on matching drugstore foundation. I find that if you get the undertones right you are 75% of the way there. You can be off a shade or two in depth, but if the foundation is too yellow, too pink, too peach, or too ash, it will look bad. The one product I’d love to see duped by elf, Neutrogena or someone, is the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Face Base. That stuff is so good but crazy expensive. ULTA brand makes great cream shadows and they are reasonably priced. Taurus is ruled by Venus, hence your love of beauty. You remind me so much of a woman I worked with. She was a Taurus and she’s Italian, so she has the dark hair and big brown eyes, too.

I think the Loreal Age Perfect mascara gives good length and volume. Almost looks like you have extensions. But little bits get stuck at the base of the lashes.

This was a great video!! I really appreciate your IG series on what high-end products you'll no longer buy. I love that! I'm about 99% drugstore at this point and am quite happy with what I've got. There's an elegance in not buying tons of stuff just to try. When I get ready in the mornings, it's so much easier to have only 1 cool blush and 1 warm blush, no digging through trying to find just the certain one that I know I bought a few months ago...where did I put it?? Just to let everyone know my Target, Walgreens, Walmart and such all have the Revlon Colorstay cream eyeshadows and they are really really great! I always do a multi color eye look and I can take the Revlon ones and take my finger and put one shade on and I am so happy! Try them out!!!

Have you tried frownies? I am on my third box and honestly think they are a game changer with forehead lines and 11 lines! I have gotten several of my friends trying them too! I am 30 and feel like my skin looks super smooth thanks to the frownies. Cheap and easy solution!!!

Botox is a brand, you may want to give Dysport a try. In my experience, Dysport lasted much longer but I tended to get tiny bruises at the injection sites. No bruising with Botox but I burned through it much faster. It’s all good stuff! I used both off and on for a least a decade. Gave it up in my late 40’s just to see what I actually looked like. Not too bad but I may start up again now in 50’s.

I have melasma spots caused by an autoimmune disease. The only product that would work to remove them was hydroquinone prescribed by my dermatologist. I have been using an OTC retinal product that was pretty strong for many years. This year I moved to Tretinoin, but the weakest one available, used every third day. I had zero side effects!! And, I can't believe the improvement in my skin!!

Just to give hope to others, the skin *doesn’t* have to go through the peeling and redness phase with Tret! I’d highly recommend LabMuffin’s blog post about easing into Tret for anyone who’s interested! I’m now at 0.1% and have never had the bad “retinized” phase…just the good effects. 😊

Do you think switching eye lash serums for growth requires a period of getting used to? For example I used to use the Clinique and loved it but its $50 so I switched to the Ordinary. I feel like the ordinary isn't doing much so far. Idk if my lashes need to get used to a new serum or if it just doesn't work for me. I used the Clinique from Sept 2022-Jan 2023. And since Jan 2023 I've been using the Ordinary.

The Timeless Vitamin C now comes in a glass bottle with airless pump. The old plastic version of airless pump leaked. Not the glass one.

I was at Target the other day. I was going to buy the Milani setting spray. They had a regular bottle and a jumbo bottle. The regular specified “Original” and the jumbo did not. I was tempted to buy the bigger for the better value, but the ingredients were different when I compared. I felt indecisive at that point and didn’t buy either. 🤣 Somebody help me. (They weren’t the other versions)

Hi, you didn’t ask me but 🙃 I’m 37 and pretty fit so why not. Getting in greens, like actual greens, is super important. Unless you have a really restricted diet, rotating in some greens and veggies is going to be most of what you need. Honestly, your body is a high functioning machine, if something is missing it will definitely give you a sign. I’ve tried soooo many supplements (I competed for years so I “couldn’t” have the variety of foods I wanted) and nothing seemed to make me feel and better. On the flip side, some of them would hurt my tummy with the extras they put in to made into a powder, etc. have a good Saturday 🤗
