Awesome roundup!! Need to try the im from essence again, my skin loved it back in 2019!! Would love a top 10 ginseng and sea buckthorn products video as well! Ive been loving the hyggee natural repair serum with 66.7% ginseng and the kaine vita drop serum with 73% sea buckthorn extract and little bit of the oil as well for good measure! Both fragrance free and affordable! Hope youre staying cool

I love how you talk about the scent of Mugwort, I feel the same way about it. Smells are very important to me as I can be sensitive to them if they are synthetic and linger too long, conversely when it is a nice naturally occurring scent it calms my nerves instantly. Since I steered clear of the world of "organic, natural beauty" where most products contain an insane amount of essential oils (which ruined my skin), but they smell amazing, I have been using evidence based beauty brands without fragrance (these healed my skin). Then I found K-beauty and fell in love with Mugwort :)

Great video! I love mugwort. I personally find that my skin responds better to it than to cica. One of my all-time favourite moisturisers is I'm From's Mugwort Cream. I was also surprised at how well Beauty of Joseon's Calming Serum worked for me despite it being a more affordable option, but that product has so many great ingredients in addition to artemisia.

I’m always so thankful for all the information I get from your videos! Now I’m very interested in the Missha essence for my type 1 rosacea! I know in the video you mentioned you put it on before any toners. Do you think this would pair well with a cica toner? And if I use a snail essence also, would it be Missha, toner, snail essence? Thanks as always for your knowledge and help!

Hi Kelly this was interesting, as I just didn't get the soothing and redness reduction mentioned from this ingredient. I used a full bottle of the Missha first essence shown and although I didn't have any adverse reaction from it (I also don't mind the herbal smell of it), I didn't really notice it did anything for my skin. My skin responds to centella very quickly and I always find it very soothing, but this was just a bit meh for me. I have rosacea and eczema so my skin is hyper reactive to many things, but this just didn't really do anything I could gauge. It wasn't an unpleasant product and I finished it up, but I wouldn't repurchase obviously. I'm not acne prone, so this may work better for that skin type, however for me it wasn't something my skin seemed to respond to in a good nor a bad way. I'm glad it seems to work well for many others though and it's just a case in point how different we can all be. Because of my experience with the missha essence, I haven't really tried anything else featuring this ingredient since. Best wishes.

I'm not to into mugwort as an ingredient I do have a few mugwort products but the only one I actually love is the Dear Klairs mugwort mask. I have the missha spray too , I think I have the one thing essence sitting around here I need to declutter cause I just don't like that one . I have been trying to use the missha spray one one this summer though. I got a tiny burn on my my chest in a 👙 top u know those little circles sometimes u for get about ..lol I had a little circle sunburn Wich I really don't burn but that area usually doesn't see sun much and it did great using it their along with the isntree aloe gel .

@@parisinthe30sx I don’t have acne but a little rosacea. It didn’t help with soothing the condition either. However the general feeling is very earthy and it calms the eczema itchiness like magic.

I made the same comment. You don’t really hear people talking about it. I bought the essence from goodal and used it when I over exfoliated/tretinoin and it did seem to really calm that down and the next day my skin was good again. I’ve got other calming things I use but this was the first time I used it with my other products and I do feel it sped up the healing process for me.

I am really torn between which to buy between Missha essence, I'm from mugwort essence & neogen essence for my enlarged pores & dehydrated skin concern..Do we still toner if essence is in use? Can it be used along with retinol, arbutin, kojic acid containing moisturiser?

I have been seeing the old bottle of the missha artemisia essence at my tj maxx & Marshall’s for a much lower price. I guess they are sending all the old packaging products to places like that. The date on the one I got is good through 4/22/2023, so it’s not close to expiring… plenty of time to use it up
