Considering it's the rainy season in malaysia, and you get the sun when it doesn't rain, so I think something indoor is more apt around this time. Plus, your mom must surely miss the cold weather, the snow back home... So... How about taking makchik bawang (no!) for a good spin on the ice skating rink in sunway pyramid, have coffee and other stuff, and maybe a bit of outdoor too at their sunway lagoon water theme park
