Hey friends! Today I want to share my favorite clarifying shampoos. I really rely on clarifying shampoos because of the amount of styling products I tend to use on a daily basis. There is some build up over time and I have found that the 3 suggestions in this video are incredibly concentrated and effective but so gentle at the same time! Thanks for sharing. Clarifying shampoo has been such a great hair care item for me as well. As I have wavy/curly fine hair, I use DevaCurl Buildup Buster followed by a touch of DevaCurl One conditioner every other week. It leaves my hair well cleansed and not stripped of moisture.☺️ R☘️

I can totally relate to hair loss! It’s terrifying! For about the last year my hair had been falling out like crazy! I hated brushing my hair and it seemed like I always had hair on my clothes. I had to do a “comb over” in the back to hide a thinning spot! It recently dawned on me that the hairspray I was using may the culprit!!!! I always used Ion brand from Sally’s but started using something else because I felt like it held my hair better. BIG MISTAKE! For the last few months I’m back to using Ion hairspray, and also their shampoo and conditioner. They have a good clarifying shampoo that I use once a week. My hair looks and feels so much better! It’s not quite like it was before but in time, I think it’ll be fine!

So scary when your hair just starts falling out. You might also want to get blood work if the hairspray is not the culprit. I had no idea my ferritin levels were crazy low.

Low iron is pretty common in women. It really did a number on my head for sure.

PRELL the best at removing all residue without leaving anything behind, just clean hair and unless your hair is damaged and or dry it will not strip or over dry. REDKEN Hair Cleansing Creme if you swim or have hard water in your area.

The smell of Prell takes me back to my childhood honestly. My mom loved that one! I do wish Redken was cruelty free. I really miss a lot of their products. I never tried the Cleansing Cream back in the day when I still purchased but it sounds lovely!

In my hair loss journey I found that salicylic acid shampoo really helped me keep my scalp clean and helps with growth. I also use minoxidil though. I use nizoral and neutrogena t sal brands. I don’t think either of them are cruelty free though? Not sure.

I don't believe they are, at least I know for sure Neutrogena is not. I wish they would change their stance on that because there are some Neutrogena products I have actually really liked in the past.

Have you tried the Olaplex clarifying shampoo? I use the shampoo, conditioner and bond repair mask (No. 3), but I've not tried the clarifying shampoo yet.

I have not tried that. I have usually enjoyed Olaplex products in the past.
