I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Eminem is one of rap’s few greats to stand among the best that music as a whole has to offer. He’s in same category as Mozart, Beethoven, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Pete Townshend, Paul McCartney and John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, etc., etc. A true musical legend to stand among the best any genre of music has to offer. I always wondered if rap wasn’t a thing, or he’d been born 20 years earlier, would Eminem of been a rockstar?

Young Em's voice is amazing - but older Em still has it in droves. It's a full circle - even with his more coarse voice he can rock these songs effortlessly. Like on Kamilaze, the songs and his voice fit; I can't see the old Slim voice fitting Venom or The Ringer as well as his voice now does.
