Vendatta: *"I can't just sit here! I'm coming to help!"* Proof that Dr. Z can program a hero to be a villain, but he can't program the hero out of the villain.
@@GZilla311 don't know much about the singer. Was he in the army? Or did something that certified him as a badass? Since it's funny that buddy has earth bending powers
I guess since Red Mantle has/still has magic (even if it's not really for combat) if given enough time he might of been able to put up a fight but yeah Dragoon actually was pretty tough since the whole shock touch from Phantom Limb is actually really deadly. Guess all that strength was lost when he literally became just a head thus why Red Mantle/Dragoon is now so pitiful.
@@Zoras88 I'm still up in the air on that. My personal theory says that doc and monarch cause it some way in dock and Billy's upcoming time travel misadventures
@@maylabrown4584 This. It'd be incredibly stupid if Vendata's scheme to infiltrate Gargantuan-1 had nothing to do with Jonas Venture death. Give the man this W, he has so few as it is.
Dragoon’s actually lucky his girth also let him survive Limb’s shock for long enough to be transplanted onto Red Mantle. And go on to become of the funniest characters on the show. I kinda wish he kept his helmet, that’d be a good joke of it clashing with Red Mantle’s ensemble and him refusing to take it off.
It's not until the Rorqual Affair almost 9 years after this episode aired that we get confirmation that Intangible Fancy is still whatever counts as alive for him.
The guys a badass stuck to a scrawny weaker body I bet you if he was the one that kept his body the two of them would be far more dangerous then they are.
The Monarch's father was the best Councilman of them all. Seasons 1-6 can be found on Adult Swim's official website, which hosts a marathon stream of all the episodes in sequential order
Props to Red Dragoon. Don't think I've ever seen anyone actually survive Phantom Limb's death touch, even if the term survive kind of needs air-quotes.
@@emetanti I think the canon reason for that is it was interfering with his shapeshifting ability instead of killing him. He would have died 6 or 7 times if not for that lol.
Looking back its GREAT that Blue Morpho aka Ventdetta, sees people being attacked and says "I can't just stand here I'm coming to help!" Showing that the Monarchs heroic father still resided deep in the programming of Ventdetta.
It's ALSO made up of Supervillains that in many cases of their elite ranks were also musicians. ...I think Brock respects them because the members of Ledd Zeppelin are ranking members in the Guild. =3
Yeah, he was a beast in his old body. Probably had a genuine super soldier serum or something that didn't wear out like Sgt. Hatreds. At least Red Mantle still has his terrakinesis.
Hriska Marinov The Sovereign isn't really Bowie. He's just a "shape-shifting nobody who's in way over his head" as Dr.-Mrs. The Monarch so eloquently put it,
Hriska Marinov The almighty Sovereign killed by an accidental discharge from a sniper who's too stupid to realize his girlfriend is cheating on him with a better class of man. It's like poetry.
Indego84 w8 do ya mean Brock? They were just on a mission, and I didnt notice any funny business between them... or I'm just blind . I watched the bed scene like 3 times and didnt see anything wrong there, she was just naked under the sheets, but nothing more, mabie she just likes to sleep that way
I would have liked red dragon to be some what powerful since you can see even though they are old they can smash through walls like any young super villain
How could they not know if they're in the same building? In another episode you see that they're in very tiny rooms right next to one another. They'd have to see each other every time they attend one of these meetings.
Brock Samson no, they get paid for this. That's their actual jobs, lol monarch isn't rich for shit. Now do they mix this with other jobs? Yes but still doesn't take away the work they put I'm for this, the sacrifices, the dirt, it's all there
Monarch gets his money from a trust fund and guild members pay dues in order to stay in the guild. They've been shown to have jobs outside of it (Think Tank is a university professor, Wide Wale runs a hotel among other businesses I'm guessing, Phantom Limb even commented on it once, while selling stolen art so that he could make money).
I find it interesting that after the we are lenient on murders line vendatta says we've all been there. This true since as the blue morpho he probably murdered people for Jonas but there is also the case that there is the possibility that he murdered Jonas venture and I think that is what they were hinting at here. I don't think he pulled the switch on gargantua 1 though as in the mind apace he claims he didn't do it and we never actually see him
Y’know, looking at what happened to Dragoon here the “guy graft” was completely unnecessary. All Limb had to do was re-start his heart, but instead he jumps right to cutting off his head and attaching it to Red Mantle’s body. Dude is full on crazy 😂
can we just appreciate for a moment how dumb it is to have a teleconference meeting, where every participant are in the same building in adjacent rooms to each other, and they only see the silhouette
Despite being half crazed with a prosthetic arm, Phantom Limb was still able to get past the Guild's security with.... a toaster. That puts him at the top of the most dangerous villains in the Guild. Dragoon did very well against Phantom Limb, until he used his powers.
