Yeah OP#2 definitely sounds like they have a fixed delusional episode. It's difficult because in situations like these, they are absolutely convinced that what they believe to be happening is 💯 real, and as a result feels like everyone is being dismissive of them. I think even if they get an MRI or CT, or any other comprehensive imaging done, they're still not going to be dissuaded.
I've seen Creative Mode builders with this problem. Because they can build infinitely, they get stuck in recursive loops of "Not perfect so tear it down and start again!"

I hope both ops are doing well. For op 2, i think the people helping them are doing the best they can and treating op with respect. That can really help with treatment. I'm really glad she got help and has such a good support system
I know what that’s like my mom wanted a girl and got two sons. I had that fixed and she still not happy. I guess I proved her she can get what she wants and still not like it very much.
Horrible story and horrible life to have to live. This is the type of craziness possibly happening from anybody, is the main reason why I'm glad I don't have any daughters.
