You are so Cute. 💵 I sold Native American Jewelry back in the late seventies, I would get that excited when I would talk to the customers, they laughed at me getting real excited 🎉 showing 🥳them the jewelry, most of the time they always💰 bought something. 💍 💎 I love Turquoise 🩵 💕 ❤️ 🥂 The name of the shop was Wayne Redhorse’s Native American Indian Jewelry. That was in Sacramento California. That was my favorite Job of all time
Hey Dina, wow your collection is stunning. That little turtle ring is cute, I use to have pet turtles a few years ago. Thanks for sharing with all of us. 🥰❤
I love how happy you are makes others happy too. You've got a gorgeous collection there that's so exciting at 21.05 oh my goodness that choker is stunning!!
Your collection is absolutely stunning. You are lucky to have found so many lovely pieces . Here in San Francisco we don't get these options unless one goes towards Southern California. I have always wanted to go to a Pow Wow to see Native artists one on one or some other traditional shopping experiences. Our Thrift stores out here just don't have such luck or even the yard sales. One just has to be very lucky to find any of these🥰
Oh my goodness, what a collection!! I found my first Navajo signed piece just recently in one of my charity shop unboxings, the most stunning Keith James stud earrings (in my shorts feed if you’re curious). I have a brooch exactly like your hummingbird but with abalone/paua shell inlay so you’ve got me wondering about that now and I just adore that opal bear with the inlaid bail 😍😍 Thanks for sharing!
@@thatgirldinamarie1 I did! They were just in a bag of things the charity shop were going to throw away 😱 so happy to have rescued them! They’re up on eBay now but I’m secretly hoping they won’t sell 🙈😂
Hi Kiersten! Thank you! Girl, I am KICKING myself over that cross from last night. It's a long story, but I had to come back later to watch the show and WHAT!!??? What an amazing deal! Still kicking myself lol😆 Great pieces, as always. Great show, and I can't wait for the next one! 😘💜💜💜
I have a bunch too native especially the cuffs and I get you don't want to mess with the patina I don't either but it's absolutely ok to rub out some of the dominant silver areas especially the areas that come in contact with your skin and the larger silver areas on the outside just because it pops and draws attention to the piece. But I always do the under side before each wear ( just a bit) because on a warm day when you're wearing it for hours on end you Don't want it getting on your. And if you lotion up after showers I do 😁 certain lotions can cause a chemical reaction with the silver! And I've had lunch go to the ladies room wash my hands and see it on my wrist. And I've got some of the greats as well solid sterling silver and signed. Larry Castillo, Lee Bennett, D. Lucas and others any silver can do it.
You can fix that cross bend on the one you dropped at home, just put a cloth over it and tap it out over flat hard surface. But that crooked bail yeah that's gotta go to the jewelers. It would bug me too lol I notice everything. And once I know it's there..
Hello Dina, I am heading to Santa Fe next month, can you please suggest some stores or trading posts to purchase Native and Mexican silver and turquoise?? Thanks. Rosie
