I own this car for over 2 years now and I have to say that Recaro seats are just awful. They are good if you track the car or dont spend longer then hour or 2 in them but other then that they are horribly uncomfortable and im not as big guy ( 5.11 180 lbs ). They look great though.
I special ordered my automatic 2018 GT without the performance package, since my Mustang shall never see a race track. In doing so, I saved over $5,000.00.
I need that sunglass holder. Lol! Your car is so awesome, and the review is really good. I bought the 2018 base GT and modded the crap out of it. I removed the fabric seats and installed a custom leather interior. I just ordered the Ford Performance Track Handling suspension which will be my last major mod (maybe). This car is so much fun and it's so much different than most you'll see.
I just got this car in the same color with the blackout. This thing is a monster and I'm getting advertised 25MPG on the highway. I'm so happy I kicked Toyota to the curb.
Wanted a mustang with performance package....I see you got a performance package, premium option, recaro seat option, shaker upgraded stereo option, rare paint, upgraded 12" LCD screen. I think you got every option except the active exhaust lol. I wouldnt mind all these options either but with this configuration youre at 50k MSRP.

The 2018 is unbelievable jaw dropping however I still prefer the 2005 - 2014 body styles. For example I love the round headlights included in those year models. I don't like the slanted headlights indicative of the newer models today.
I like some changes, but hate the digital dash. It looks 2D, not 3D. Love my 2015 dash. 460 HP is nice. And finally the standard exhaust sounds throaty! Ultimate car would be a Camaro body with a Mustang interior.
I liked the Camaro body the 1st year it was introduced. The visibility is dangerous! The dash on the Camaro is cheap looking and so is the Vettes. Spend large amount of cash on a Vette or Camaro and you get an ugly dash which you have to look at all the time you're in it.

My Ford dealer in Melbourne Australia sourced the Recaros and installed all the extras as well as magna ride suspension package....had to get the GPS tracker too.....soon will be fitting the blower kit from Herrod Performance....that should boost the horse power!!

I didnt get the digital cluster but this car is still so much fun. I also have recaros! Theyre the best recaro's ive ever sat in. I traded a '17 focus ST with recaros for this car and mannnn were those seats uncomfortable.
Congrats. My 2010 Mustang GT is blown with a Saleen VI. I'm actually planning to trade in this year, too, but I put money down for a Bullitt. Part of me feels like I'll miss the torque of the twin screw and my factory red leather interior (unlike the current premium red the 2010 also has a red leather steering wheel) but I can't pass up the current Bullitt.
Its tricky as any car is a liability but if youve paid off your mortgage etc you may just want some fun with the rest and what better way than a head turning car that puts a smile on your face
Roman 81only bad thing about the bullitt is that it’s going to cost as much as a Shelby. Went to a show a few weeks ago and there was a bullitt there so I asked how much it would cost and I was told around $70k without markups.
Roman 81 they said it’ll be that way with all limited edition cars like this one. Seeing it in person really makes me want one though. Not only is the car amazing but the color is just phenomenal.
Austin Kirkland their getting out of hand with these cars as far was price...lol. If it’s going to cost that much then I’ll just get a Shelby gt350 for 60-65k. Or a used one with 4,000 miles on it for 55k. It’s still a GT platform. Just with a few add on to give it 15 hp and looks. It is a nice car but won’t pay that.
Roman 81 yeah I’d get a 350 before the bullitt any day. Even though the bullitt does look great with that color I think the gt350/gt350r is the best looking S550 out there.

Did you get used to the super touchy brakes? Also do they ever get less touchy because they were annoyingly touchy when I drove one. Frankly its the main reason I dont have one of these babies parked in my garage.
The Engine sounds good but did you know Ford is using a Plasma transferred wire arc process on the cylinder walls that is only .005 thick? Do you have any idea on the durability of the cylinder bores before the block is scrap? From what I understand it saves just under 10lb of weight in the block, I just wonder at what cost to the consumer. So any thoughts on this NEO?
