This car is not better than g82 x drive at nothing, no on the track , no from a dig , no from a roll , no in technology, no in tuning options , no better engine s58 is years better engine , if this car would be better wouldn’t be collecting dust around dealership and 50k after 2 years .

@@dominicancash It handles better on the open road. 200kg less weight, sharper steering due to the much smaller steering ratio (11.8:1 on the Alfa vs 14.5:1 on the BMW), better chassis, overall better engagement with the car. You don't buy these to race other people on the street, you buy them to enjoy the experience.

@@thomasferrarojr.9772 The RS3 comes to mind but haven't driven either to give a direct opinion. For me AWD is a must and any sport-oriented Audi would be a no brainer. If I lived in a place where there's no snow the QV would win hands down.

Oh and a thought about the headlight design of the 24 models: Indeed Maserati is playing with the three elements design on their cars but not especially on the headlights. However Alfa has this tradition: Apart from the Tonale check out the 159, Brera, 939 Spider and - much older - the Proteo Concept or the SZ Zagato ES30 from more than 30 years ago. Think it’s great Alfa sticks to that tradition 👍

Nonetheless I like the previous headlights very much and think they fit the Giulia extremely well! On the Stelvio I would definitely go for the 24 headlights, however on the Giulia they both look great, not too easy…

Just a heads up, if you dont order the exposed carbon roof on the qv anymore, they put a non carbon painted roof. Id rather deal with the imperfect weave for a lighter car. Also consider a different lowering spring than ST. Alfissimo has made some with higher spring rates that you may enjoy. He modelled them after the GTA springs. John 4c on the giulia foruns js making custom forged wheels for a decent price. The design of the stelvio qv 5 hole shrunk to 19 inches forged is a nice option. Consider doing ppf on the rear bumper, front fenders, side skirts. I did that on mine and didnt need to put mud flaps. It kept the car lines clean. I would beg you to consider the TFL x-pipe. Its better than straight pipe and the nasty centerline x pipe. The TFL x pipe give benefits of volume from straight pipe and pops on upshifts from stock. You can ask any muffler shop to replicate the tfl x pipe at a much cheaper cost.

I own a quadrifoglio and judt got it like a month ago and it's so fun to drive and so fast it's the best car to have. I love it alot and the race mode is just crazy. Truly a good car and good handling, and the looks is just beautiful as always. Thank you for making this video.

Alfa 159 and Brera/Spider which never were sold in US had 3 headlights in the front on each side. That’s what they went after with the new headlights.

Hey Phil, congratulations and a very warm welcome back to where you belong. Annoying spec choices here in Europe as well, Alfa cut back on so much, I also wanted the std Alfa wheels but couldn’t get them. I hated the digital dash & clocks too, saw them on a Veloce and Stilantis clearly stole it out of a Peugeot. Looking forward to seeing the modification videos as you post them!!

That is one SUPERB car, delighted you are back in one. I just new the M3 wouldn't do it, not after one of these. Soulless in comparison. The new tech screens are fine in the Tonale, so would expect same in the Giulia - but the existing dials work perfectly well. It's the car that's the important thing, how it drives so brilliantly, not the size of the 'TVs'. Some muppets are more worried about that in their cars of course, not Alfisti!

Brilliant car! Congratulations with this characterful Italian beauty! Btw the three headlights in the ‘24 model was introduced with the Sprint Zagato and Alfa Proteo which later turned into the spider/gtv. Then the 159/Brera/Spider had the 2x three head lights as well. So the 24 headlight design is very much Alfa Romeo. But I agree that the 23 design is beautiful as can be!

Your AR QV videos helped me decide to go 2024 for one, more daily supersedan mission so I do not mind them making it more refined and a bit less edgy. But still a real Alfa passion in there. The 3 light actually has an Alfa connection from the 80s and even earlier with such lights. With the mechanical LSD you are right about cost cutting but the mechanical could be great how it is more long term. With the dash I just did a leap of faith ;-) would prefer the traditional too. Coming May 2024 we will see.

Here I am, with almost a similar spec QV sitting in my driveway, and watching a video about a car I look at every day and know everything about, yet I love seeing how other people appreciate just how special this car is! I think you are the only other person that has a red QV with the exposed carbon roof like mine (although mine is a 2021 and in the rosso competizione). I have family in western NC, and am going down in October for autumn! Can wait to take it down there! I don't have the carbon seats. I wish I had the carbon seats. That being said, the regular seats have amazing bolstering, and the heating in them during winter is far superior that the heated seats in my other car. The seats actually warm your lower back and not just your ass. Also, I noticed that the cars built with the carbon seats, you have more blank buttons on your temp control. Two of those blank buttons are the seat temp controls in mine. I also have the tecnico wheels, black calipers, the carbon mirror and V, and the green/white stitching everywhere. Its weird seeing plain stitching on the doors and dash, and the green/white on the seats only. I agree about the LCD, the analog gauges in this car are simple, but beautiful. When the light hits them, you can see the circles imprinted on them, and it looks like the painted lines in a nice watch! i don't think I've seen a video or even pictures on anyone's Giulia to show that off. Also, I got a story about my front lip splitter replacement, if anyone wants me to tell what happened.

2021 was the last they offered deviate stitches on dash and doors they started axing so many options shortly afterwards. I had a 21 QV in Alfa Rosso with red lower dash and doors with red stitching it was nice but i now prefer my 2023 spec a bit more

Congrats! Just received delivery of my '23 QV with the similar specs but in Verde Montreal a few days ago. I was about to purchase a manual IMSA (Sebring) CT4V BW, but had a change of heart and went with the Giulia. Was also considering a manual M4 coupe and M2 but couldn't find one with the specs that I want within my price I'm willing to pay for. I'm very happy so far.

Sounds like we both shopped the same cars the IMSA drives awesome but being priced same as Alfa it lacked all higher tech materials underneath etc. i still would have loved to get it for the manual but dealers wouldn’t budge on prices and there all sitting on their lots go figure

Thanks for the review. I've been following you for a while and you're clearly an Alfa fan. I'm surprised how much you didn't like the G80. Do you miss the manual trans? That's the main reason I won't get the QV.

Having a bad manual transmission is honestly not worth having and the BMW gearbox shifter sucked even with mods I did. If a manual is a must the CT4V Blackwing is the best you can get and it drives incredible and has a real Tremec. If dealers were willing to discount I would have bought the CT4V that’s how good it drives and is fun every-time behind the wheel. I kinda still want one just for the Tremec

10:10 The three lights are a throwback to the Alfa SZ. These headlights were first featured on the SWB Zagato, which is an Alfa-Zagato collab, just like the SZ was.

@@autofanaticcars The facelift triple ring headlights ARE a part of Alfa Romeo's heritage. Think of the iconic SZ from the 1990s and the 159 sedan of the 2000s. I assume neither of them were sold in the U.S hence the confusion. On a different note, have you ever tried a Superformance GT40 replica? Unlike other companies which make obviously fake looking replicas, Superformance's cars are so authentic, they're eligible for official GT40 chassis registry alongside the originals from the 1960s. They also make replicas of Shelby Cobras including the rare Daytona coupe.

I had a Superformance Cobra 427 in 2018 was not a huge fan and got rid of it immediately. I have driven them all including the GT40. I have the honor of working on a restoration of real 1967 Shelby Cobra 427 soon and may post videos on the channel if the client allows me to.

Il be honest i still want to get a Blackwing for the manual it’s an awesome driving car just overpriced when you compare both cars with materials and engineering

@@autofanaticcars Gotcha, I was surprised when you said the two cars were priced similarly since the Blackwing starts in the low to mid 60s, but then again that's with no options, and I have no idea if dealers are trying to screw anyone too.

I came to realize if you really go Blackwing you need to go base and accept the cheaper interior and boring plain exterior just to emphasize the price factor but the IMSA is Best version but priced too high considering what it lacks in materials underneath versus the QV. Awesome outstanding drive non the less

Congrats, it’s so gorgeous! 1. The Alcantara inside is the same here in Europe, I can confirm that. Wrote it in my last comment (vid regarding the spec), too. It’s so disappointing to see so many options being not available anymore, just like red stitching or green/white stitching on the dash and doors. At the same time I see your car doesn‘t have the tinted windows in the back which are the only window to get meanwhile in Europe. 2. Ain‘t the diff the same as in the GTA models? 3. What about the new tail lights and Akrapovic exhaust?

US cars don’t get tail lights or exhaust maybe in 24 but doubt it the option are so limited here

No idea i do not take tire and wheel coverage because they always screw you in NY for that because of our bad roads

I was torn between a QV and my CT4 Blackwing, I ended up with BW for the manual. But sold it when my Carrera T arrived. Loved the car but part of me wonders if I would have kept the QV if I got that instead. It came down to lack of availability (couldn't find any QV's when I was deciding). I got my new BW for $70k OTD which was a smoking deal on new years eve last year, kept it 6 months and didn't lose much.

The Blackwings i was looking at were IMSA editions and nobody was discounting them yet nobody is buying then as there still in inventory all over the country. I was really looking for a Porsche GTS new but impossible to find it seems

@@autofanaticcars Yeah, our local Cadillac dealer has one each of the IMSA editions and they're still sitting on his lot. For me, the interiors colors/details and the exterior decals are a bit gaudy.

I live in Knoxville, if you are planning a drive on the Tail of the Dragon and would like to try some other great (even better) roads let me know....glad to help you plan the best possible drive in the TN, GA, NC area...I haveca 2021 QV.
