Good work on the video. However I would also tend to agree re the music volume. Also, are you able to please in future show some detail as to how you perform such tasks as pressing the tabs that hold the pump motor? Keep up the good work!
Just about to do the same thing on my Honda. Althought there are screws for the pump and ABS,VSA can be calibrated through the diagnostic that's already inside the car. (By joining 4 and 9 on the obd2 and pressing the pedals and VSA button in correct order)
So reviewing this closely, it looks like, (a) IF you can "unstake" a bad pump motor, and (b) replace the motor, ALL while NOT removing teh brake lines / module, (c) THEN, this job can be done without undoing the brake lines and going through the bleed. Agree???
Good video niCe to see the close up detail you dont get that with other channels. As a matter of interest if you know, is an ate mk70 the same inside as your mk60 ? Also where those 2 horizontal pins are, would there be some o ring seals there to stop the fluid from coming out? And is it possible for these seals to cause it to get stuck? Did you put any grease of some sort on the eccentric part and the that insert as a matter of interest? Also could you use the same motor from another car with the same ate abs unit and swap that over? I know you cant use another different cars pcb (ecu) from the unit. Thanks, so what was wrong with that motor? And what was wrong with your ate unit in the first place? Thanks i know it was 3 years ago !
Great video. One question please. Why would you reprogram it if you only replaced the motor ? The module and pump were already coded/programmed, right ?
So what was the problem in the fist place? Had the motor shaft seal gone that was causing it to leak brake fluid into the motor workings? I have the same bloody problem with my pump not working.
