Oh my goodness, the flavor combo. We should call this a treat. Then again, I haven’t enjoyed food more than I can remember since following your plan and recipes, and SO filling. Thank you isn’t enough.
I just tried this today and let me tell you, it was amazing! I was a bit scared to try it at first, but it was delicious. I decided to make a change and thought I would give IF a try. I recently found your channel and have been learning so much. I am down 6lbs so far.
I totally love this recipe!! I tried it! I added an extra tablespoon of almond flour. Yess it does give me that “oatmeal” experience. What I omitted was the protein powder. I did use the Greek yogurt-added a little more. I didn’t need to add sugar with the berries. I used frozen strawberries 🍓!! So good! Yumm! Thank you!! 🤗
I can't begin to tell you how amazing this recipe is. I work out every morning before I break my fast. At that point nothing really satisfy my hunger or my wish list of foods. This did. the ONLY change I made was that i added a little cinnamon. Thank you, Autumn. GAME CHANGER!
I just made this and it is so good! I used ground flaxseeds because that's all I had and frozen cherries (I know not v low in sugar but again all I had). I topped with chopped pecans and coconut flakes. I'm definitely saving this recipe and going to have it again tomorrow for sure!! Thank you so much!
For some one who was eating ordinary oats everyday… this meal is insane!! It is sooo yummy! And heating the blueberries before chucking them on top!! Genius! Wow! Love this so much
I add more almond flour and use ground flax, cook it in a deep bowl in the microwave, remove, stir, then cook it about 40 seconds more and transfer it to a smaller bowl. I don't add vanilla or protein powder. I top it with shaved, toasted almonds, blueberries or other berries, add unsweetened almond milk and two packets of Stevia/Monkfruit. I make a whole container of the dry ingredients so I don't have to mix it up every day.
Thank you for this! New here, lowcarb for almost 2yrs, lots of weight off and looking to maintain. I was so skeptical but this was awesome! Looking forward to exploring more of your delicious recipes ❤
You knocked it out of the park on this! I have been keto for years and one of the things I miss most on a chilly morning is oatmeal. I had everything I needed except raspberries instead of blueberries and this was FAB. Thank you so, so much!
My one hang up when I went Keto was my love for oats! Savory or sweet I loved them all. I increasingly found just couldn’t handle the effects on my blood sugars. Thank you so much!
Just made this, and it's amazing .. and i could hardly stuff myself with this full bowl ! also used mixed berries instead so had combine blueberry, strawberry, and raspberry - yum! thank you for recipe!
Hi Autumn, thank you for wonderful information and education your giving to have a healthier life 😊 Can you please make some videos to demo some workouts ?
I just stumbled on your channel a couple of days ago and made this recipe today. OMG, it is delicious. It was so good I shared it with a friend who eats a lot of oatmeal.
I just started eating healthy and I love your channel I now look at all the ingredients in my food and try to buy what I suggest thank you for all the free videos! The have been helping me achieve my goals!!
Thank you for this recipe! Totally hit the spot except I tweaked it a bit with flaxseed meal instead of almond flour to make the thicker consistency (on top of flaxseeds) since I ran out of almond flour. Still came out great!
OMG!!!! Made this recipe and it’s sooooo good!!!!! I Couldn’t believe how good it is!! I Was sooo Excited 😆 I started Dancing 💃🏼 Thank You sooooo Much!!!!! I have struggled to find recipes that are healthy but at the same time that I can enjoy it. Honestly, I AM BEYOND EXCITED 🤩🤩🤗
First time trying this recipe as I've never been a hot cereal (or any cereal) eater. This was amazing! Creamy and filling, I didn't even bother to put it in a bowl - ate it right out of the pot. Thank you Autumn.
I found this recipe from your channel, and I now eat it 3 times a week. And eating recipes like this has brought my A1c and cholesterol levels back into the normal range (without the use of any medications). Thank you for posting this recipe! :)
OMG. Soooo good!!! No more oatmeal . I used fresh blueberries ( didnt have any frozen) and plant based yogurt ( again all I had) and added some walnuts and drizzled tahini on top…scrumptious…thank you so much!!!!!
I did a very similar recipe as this one building it from your previous pumpkin spice one. I put it in the microwave for 1 minute or so to cook. It is even easier. I have not been using the protean powder (I don't usually have that), but the Greek yogurt is great.
Just made this and it was easy, obviously nutritious and delicious 😋 So pleased you shared this Autumn, I’ve struggled to find an oatmeal alternative as even gluten free oats don’t work for me. I’m not bloated after this yet feel satiated . A definite recipe keeper. Thank you 🙏 thank you 🙏 thank you 🙏
Yay for this recipe and the helpful information! Just concerned that heating these precious seeds will reduce their nutrients, especially since Omega-3 fatty acids are sensitive to heat, as far as I know. Would it work to just heat the almond flour with plant milk first to make the base, then add the chia, flax, and hemp seeds afterwards? 🤔
I have been buying a pre-made keto porridge online. It contains the same ingredients as this recipe with the coconut and cinnamon already added. It does not contain protein powder and I have not tried to add yoghurt. It is however very expensive. This will be much cheaper with a great boost of protein from the powder and yoghurt. Will definitely be making this as soon as I have finished my pre-packaged one. Thank you for this recipe.
Omg omg finally made this and stop what your doing , get the ingredients if you don’t have them and make this. This is delicious, like dessert and filling.
Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge & this recipe! This sounds like it’s right up my alley & I already have all the ingredients! I’m going to break my fast with it at noon! 😍 I am actually excited to make this! I’ve been binge watching your videos since I found you last night-5/31/22 & have already taken so many notes & I am learning so much!!! I am beyond grateful & filled with so much hope! 💝
Wow this was amazing! Tried it and loved it 😍. I’m not doing keto but more of a low carb diet so I added sugar substitute to the blueberry compote, tasted too tart the first time I made it. My new go to morning meal.
Thank you for this video which I just found after sending you a message regarding alternatives to porridge! This might sound bizarre but I have put on weight just this week after incorporating porridge in my routine, and it has caused me stomach issues as well. I know that it works for a lot of people, and it is super popular in the country where I live now, Sweden, but really it just does not work for me so I am elated to have seen your video and I will try this tomorrow. I will also cook the blueberries and coconut oil together with the seeds, I did not understand the point to cook them separately, thanks for your time and dedication to helping others
I was an oatmeal person. I am now changing that! I made this recipe, but didn’t like it that much. I tried it again and used apples ,raisins and walnuts topped with cinnamon and one pack of stevia. It was so good!!! I think the apples added the texture I needed. 😋
Hi Autumn I just made this was sooooo yummy I only had chocolate flavoured protein powder and was delicious 😋thank you for all your wonderful recipes and input 😊
This was actually delicious! I didn’t have vanilla protein powder so used chocolate and wasn’t a fan, next time I’ll omit it and just add a little bit more Greek yogurt :)
This is delicious!! I didn't have unflavored protein powder, so I just tried it with what I have. Cookies & cream protein powder made it taste like cereal. Not bad at all!! And people think healthy food tastes gross...
This is a must try. Any experience with “overnight” keto oatmeal or cooking a batch for weekly meal prep? Also, why skip if it is plant based yogurt? Thank you for this recipe, I have everything in my kitchen to make in the morning.
I made this this morning. It was amazing. The only thing I had to change was chocolate protein powder instead of the vanilla. Because I am out of the vanilla
OMG! I just made this and it is delicious! I thought I`m not gonna like it without any sweetener but I was wrong. It is soooo good just as it is and it is very creamy. I drizzled some peanut butter on it and added 2-3 pecan on top. Yummy. You are the best! I love your video contents. Thank you! In fact I am subscribing now.
If you do happen to only have fresh blueberries, i have found you can mash them up a bit add a little ghee and vanilla extract and microwave it for 30 sec or sauteed like shes doing here. Its all so good.
Hello Autumn, love watching your videos. I was wondering if you have an opinion about grinding up flax and chia seeds? Do you think we absorb more of their nutrients if they are ground vs. Whole? I use a Vitamix for my smoothies and realize everything does get pulverized. I just noticed you always use whole. Just curious about your thoughts. Sorry if you already did a video regarding the subject.
Hello, thank you very much for the wonderful recipe. I was hoping to get your insight on something. Protein powder have carbs even though it’s from natural sources. Would it be ok? Would it spikes your insulin level? And also can I use unsweetened yogurt or does it have to be Greek yogurt? Thank you very much for your help.
Hello, Thank you for this I am a new subscriber. Can you make a big batch of this and refrigerate it and eat it like overnight oats? I don't have time every morning to make it. Thanks in advance.
I'm so happy you've come out with this 2nd keto oatmeal recipe. I was keen to try pumpkin spice one but literally would have had to make my own pumpkin puree because the canned version isn't sold in my country. Thank you for the great content. Hugs from South Africa! 🇿🇦
Hi there! I can't wait to try this but I don't have hemp seeds? Is there anything else I can use to replace them with and still get the same taste/texture?? I would be grateful if you could give another option for that! 😘
Hi Autumn, I LOVE this recipe!!! I did notice in this video, you only used 1 tbsp chia, and 1 Tbsp almond where your previous recipie called for two? Love you videos, you have helped me soooooo much! xx
I love my steel oats with vegan coconut milk organic cinnamon a banana a apple 1 tablespoons of maple organic syrup and a table spoon flax seeds but I’ll definitely give this a try looks delicious I will definitely skip the protein powder though it’s very bad on my stomach and very bad on the liver hemp seeds and flax already add protein
Will this and other of your recipes work for weight loss if you are older? They look so good, but I am in my late 60s and I have about 20 lbs to lose. Thank you!
Thanks for this recipe and demo. Just made this for Mom (89yo) and me. I did add a little salt and nuts to mine and Mom added ginger syrup. It’s really good!!! We are happy and healthy in Maryland. Good day everyone.
I just tried this for my midmorning meal. It's SO EASY thankfully, and it helps provide some variety that I've been needing in my diet, especially since the base (I call it "fauxtmeal" 😅) has that thick body and slight, for lack of a better word, blandness that Oatmeal has that makes it perfect for adding a variety of toppings
